"Vi opholdt os i fire nætter i dette hjemlige familiedrevne hotel.Det er beliggende i væggene i Old Khiva så meget bekvemt til at besøge Ichon Qala.Personalet var stor, så hjælpsomt og høfligt.De derefter omfattede rumme var store nok og af en god standard. Det samme kunne siges om morgenmad!Alt frisk med en god række varmt og koldt mad.Du kan spise i spisestuen eller udenfor under en middag i den smukke indre gård.En behagelig ophold og kan anbefale at blive her."

"It's outside Ichan Kala, but there's a supermarket next door, so you can get drinks cheaply. I paid the tax at check-in, but they didn't accept cards. They said they'd give me my change later, but they never did. It was a small amount, so I let it slide, but it might be a good idea to have small bills ready."

"The hotel is in the center of the "inner city", therefore you can reach every monument within minutes on foot. Service is good. There is a nice terrace which looks over the town. Good breakfast. Reception is open 24/7."

New Minor Hotel

"This is a fairly new hotel that is well maintained and extremely clean. The best aspect of this hotel is the location as it's situated next to Islam Khoja Minaret. So it's easy to explore the beautiful old town on foot. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The guy at reception was responsive and helpful for booking transfers. The only negative aspects are the lack of soundproofing and adequate blackout blinds to block the light from the outside. But given this was a boutique hotel charging a reasonable rate, I was fine with it. But they should improve the quality of amenities in the bathroom, e.g., soap."

"The overall experience was below expectations - after reading so positive reviews I had expected more. The hotel is in a good location, within city walls and walking distance from all attractions in Khiva. I found a substantial difference between the common areas (entrance, reception, breakfast room) which were quite nice and our room. I knew the room was going to be small, but it was also not cozy at all. Just functional. View was over a wall (we were at the ground floor). I assume ours (room 108) was one of the cheapest one (we did not make the reservation ourselves). The bathroom was better, with a proper shower. We spent 3 nights at the hotel. The day after arrival housekeeping did not come to fix the room. In the evening we actually had to ask for toilet paper and to have the bins emptied. The following day when our guide talked to breakfast personnel (in Uzbek) about it she was told we had asked not to have the room done, which was obviously not the case. There was a kettle in the room, but we only got some tea bags & Nescafe on day 2, so if you plan to use the kettle better have some tea bags with you. Breakfast was ok but nothing special - as I found fried eggs quite heavy, asked one day for boiled eggs which I got. On departure day since we left at 6 am they had prepared a nice breakfast pack for us. All in all, a mixed experience."
