"It's a beautiful little villa. I booked a single room. Although the room is small, it's enough for one night. The living room on the second floor is very British, I like it. The breakfast is a traditional English breakfast, and there is so much that you can't finish it all. The landlord, Lucy, is very amiable. The only drawback is that the heating is intermittent and it is quite cold at night. I put my down jacket on top of the quilt to keep warm. Maybe the bed is too close to the window. It is really cold. In addition, the electric towel rack in the bathroom also provides intermittent heating. It's a little far from the center of town, and there are still garbage from the previous guest in my room. It's really environmentally friendly. Overall it's good"

"The environment and facilities of the B&B itself are very good, and it is a very atmospheric accommodation. The biscuits in the room were delicious, and the meals provided by the B&B were also good, but not cost-effective (some dishes were a bit salty). The location is relatively remote, and I feel that people who stay here generally drive their own cars. We are a bit far away from Keswick and Derwentwater, and if the bus stops, we can only call to book a taxi. However, the overall accommodation experience is still very good!"

"Our stay at Dorchester House was perfect! The room we stayed in was very comfortable, clean and quiet. We were given a nice selection of breakfast options and they were always delicious. We had a nice surprise on Easter Sunday as special treats were waiting for us on our breakfast table. The hosts, Lorraine and Simon are very welcoming. Lorraine even provided us with a take away breakfast on our last morning before an early check out. Keswick is a beautiful spot to enjoy a few days to hike, explore, and enjoy some wonderful pubs. Lorraine and Simon are always full of great recommendations on how to enjoy your visit. We highly recommend staying at Dorchester House. We hope one day to be lucky enough to return."
