Sunshine Hotel Tengecha ★★★

"The subpar ambiance in the reception area, moldy bathrooms, small rooms, and poorly maintained spaces are indeed unacceptable. The peeling paint, dings, and holes further exacerbate the problem. Additionally, the waiter’s decision to withhold the tea until after the meal was puzzling and disrupts the dining experience. The deluxe room’s pricing, nearing Ksh. 8500, feels unjustified. I strongly recommend that the management promptly address these issues to enhance guest satisfaction. The management should take the following actions to improve: 1. Room Maintenance: Prioritize thorough room inspections and address issues promptly. Fix peeling paint, dings, and holes to enhance room aesthetics. 2. Bathroom Upgrades: Invest in bathroom renovations to eliminate mold and improve design. Cleanliness and functionality are crucial. 3. Heater and TV Maintenance: Ensure all amenities, including heaters and TVs, are in good working condition. Promptly address any connectivity or operational challenges. 4. Pricing Transparency: Reevaluate the deluxe room pricing. Transparency is essential to avoid customer dissatisfaction and the perception of a ripoff. Clear communication with guests and proactive problem-solving will enhance the overall guest experience."
