"Caribbea Bay is truly a beautiful escape. The views of Lake Kariba are stunning and so calming. It’s the kind of place where you can genuinely relax and take in nature. The hotel’s aesthetics are very pleasing and create such a serene atmosphere. You can create so much content at the hotel itself . And how beautiful it is when the sun starts setting wow ✨ The staff were warm and welcoming, which made the stay even more comfortable. The only area that could use a little improvement is the menu. While the food was okay, it felt quite basic compared to the overall experience and setting of the resort. With a more elevated dining experience, this place would easily be a 5/5. Overall, it’s a lovely destination for the views and ambiance and with a few tweaks to the menu, it would be exceptional."

"Beautiful place, amazing views. I have a few reservations mostly related to the service: 1. Pool was not cleaned on our arrival & we were asked not to I have a few reservations mostly related to the service: 1. Pool was not cleaned on our arrival & we were asked not to use for the 1st full day as there were "chemicals" in the pool. I dont understand why this should be the case seeing as the pool is advertised as one of the amenities & should be kept clean. Pool on property is locked 2200 to 0600hrs, this would be a more ideal time to add pool chemicals so it's ready for use. 2. Vicious dogs within the property which we were informed on arrival were kept in their enclosure during the day. These were let out & it took over an hour of us asking/begging for the team there to finally agree to return them into the enclosure so we could check out. This delayed our check out. Please do not expect everyone to relate to your animals the same way you do 3. We were not asked but rather TOLD to leave our keys in the door for rooms to be cleaned. After a full day out, we returned to find keys still in the doors, and no cleaning done. This made me doubt that the security of my belongings was of any importance to the hosting team 4. No bins or chairs in the rooms my group & I stayed in. These are quite basic & would be helpful to have in the rooms. Overall, a lovely place that could certainly benefit from training in customer service"
