"Vi stoppede kun for en kop kaffe på en tuk tuk ride, store udsigter lige på flodens kant, det var som en safari, da vi så chips, der løb rundt, vandmonitorer, bat hængende i træerne, Kingfisher dykker i floden, en kite og havørn dykker for kylling kastet af gardiner (som fodrede dem dagligt) talte om en krokodille, men han viste sig ikke, drikkevarer og kaffe var af god kvalitet, og vi blev taget på deres tag for at nyde udsigterne og pege på vores Hotel, en ung mand, der bruger en slags whistle kaldet havørn til at komme og fodre, og vi så dem blive fodret, det var så sjovt, vi blev alder, (vi gav dem penge til at købe mere kylling til at fodre fuglene, og de vendte tilbage til vores ændring og sagde det var til meget) virkelig venlige ægte kæledyr, glimt af deres restaurant, der så godt ud, gå for en drink du ikke vil blive skuffet"

"This is a beautiful hotel that is right by the sea with beautiful beaches. Staff is extremely friendly and will help you with anything you need. You get your own private hotel room and a private small pool, which is just beautiful.. We had massages that were wonderful and staff that has been super friendly and nice. I will definitely come back. Only downside is the location. It’s definitely a drive from the city."

"My wife and I stayed at Glenross Living in Sri Lanka for five nights and this beautiful boutique hotel exceeded our expectations in very way. Architecturally it is very pleasing, comprising a main building being a nineteenth century mansion originally owned by a Scottish immigrant which is combined with seven modern villas each having its own private pool and breathtaking views over the valley very far below. The food is of a high standard; impeccably presented and with local and international options. In my opinion however, the hotel’s greatest assets are its people. The team is captained by Niroshana the manager who trains and leads by example, never hesitating to help the other staff and chat with guests. His experience is seen in the confidence and cooperative nature of those around him. Lovely Sarah greeted us on arrival and is in charge of yoga at Glenross. Larry and Dillshan are the two butlers that assisted us whenever and wherever we needed. A younger member of the team is Udara who performs a wide range of tasks always with a smile. More than anyone else we dealt with Upali who transported us around the grounds, offered tourism suggestions, pitched in to help his colleagues and laughed with us as part of his ability to make guests feel very welcome. If you are travelling to Sri Lanka and want to stay at a very polished resort between Colombo and Galle, Glenross must be considered."
