"Very convenient to XIJIANG 1000 MIAO VILLAGE as a stop by to get relaxed for you next destination. A very newly opened hotel. Every thing was new and well organized, very pleasant peaceful atmosphere at night even it’s a major area of Kaili. Walk out 5 minutes to the right and you’ll reach an active lovely night market with locals having great food. The owner was very friendly and upgraded me. A convenient store just next, sure definitely stay again on my November trip."

However, the washing machine times often changed; when I went to collect my laundry at the displayed time, it would usually add another half hour or so. I had to make two or three trips just to get my clothes. The Miao villages near Kaili are great to visit, and staying in the city center is much more convenient."

The hotel perfectly embodies a 'wild luxury' style, and the room views are impeccable. It's operated by the villagers, meaning the income directly benefits the local community. A staff member will meet you at the hotel parking lot for transfers, and an uncle will help with luggage to your room or the front desk. The hotel's dinner is also excellent; the local rice field fish and river snails were memorable, and the cured pork was absolutely fantastic. Overall, this hotel is a true paradise for relaxation and quiet contemplation. Highly recommended, and I'll definitely be back."

"Very good value for money and very convenient. I would recommend it if the wall is cracked. The RV is very big, so it’s no problem for two people to live there. It has a swing and a barbecue, the cooking and breakfast are delicious, and the service is super good. The campground is on a hillside, and the path to the west gate is very convenient. We stayed in a Miao village car the next day, and the car parked at the campground for free. After coming out of the west gate the next day, the boy directly drove down the glass plank road and reached the campground in one minute. It was great👍👍, the little brother helped us slide the box down and then walked up by himself. The hotel also gave me souvenirs."

The Streamscape Retreat at Xijiang
"The hotel is located near the North Gate of Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village. The shuttle bus had just arrived at the parking lot when I called to ask if someone could pick us up. The driver arrived within minutes – incredibly fast! The hotel isn't far from the North Gate, maybe a one or two-minute drive. It has its own underground parking and a restaurant where we had a delicious sour fish soup. The driver (pictured) was super enthusiastic and provided commentary throughout the journey. The next day, we were eager to visit the village again to take more photos, so I called the driver. I later found out they usually only provide pickups from 9 AM, but they still helped us out by taking us earlier. The only minor issue was that the bathroom might not have a window, as there were quite a few small, harmless flies. Our room was very spacious with comfortable floor-to-ceiling windows. Staying here was incredibly convenient for getting in and out of the scenic area. We only had to walk a short distance via a shortcut to reach the observation deck."

"We stayed 3 nights in Leli Villa. The best part was the prompt butler services - they helped us arranged a shared transport to & fro 镇远古城 which is 135km away. In addition, picked up and dropped off at 凯里南站 were provided. Breakfast was sumptuous; daily fruits, afternoon tea and nightly desserts were also provided. We could feel their sincerity in making their guest's stay comfortably. Aesthetically, the hotel"s decor was nice. However, the worst part was the bathroom. There was no place at all to hang your towel nor clothes. There was a big bathtub placed in the room which was not essential. I would rather have a nice couch or another table for us to place our stuff. Light switches behind the bed were unreachable and we had to on/off lights near door entrance."
