"I arrived at the hotel quite late, but Liu Qiongqiong, the receptionist, was incredibly welcoming. She showed no signs of fatigue from her night shift and helped upgrade my room. She also thoughtfully reminded me about breakfast and inquired about my room preferences. The service was excellent and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely stay here again next time I have the chance."

"The room was clean, tidy, comfortable, and bright, with no strange smells from the linens. You can tell they put a lot of thought into everything. The front desk staff were very friendly and patient with guests. The environment is great, right next to Jinming Lake, which is a major highlight. You can access Jinming Lake directly from the hotel, and it offers different views during the day and night. It's definitely worth staying there. It's not far from Kaiyuan Department Store, walkable if you don't mind a short stroll, but driving is also fine. The breakfast was good and quite varied."

Rui Beiting Apartment Hotel (Wuxia Town, Kaifeng)

"I was very satisfied with my stay in Kaifeng this time. It's very close to Wansuishan Martial Arts City, and only about a ten-minute drive to Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden. After a long day of sightseeing, I could just fall asleep without having to drag my luggage around. The decor is pleasant and not overly flashy; it's a woody-toned, detached villa type, and super quiet. The front desk service was really good. Check-in was fast, and they were happy to help with directions and luggage storage. They even reminded me to book the herbal bath in advance, not just giving a perfunctory answer. Breakfast had everything you'd expect, so I didn't have to get up early and search for food. The room hygiene was impeccable; no strange smells upon entering, and the toilet, desk, and bathtub were all clean. What I was most satisfied with was the traditional Chinese herbal bath! After a day of exploring Wansuishan and Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden, my legs were aching, but after the bath, I felt completely relaxed and slept incredibly soundly. The next day, I woke up feeling refreshed and ready to continue sightseeing without any trouble."

"This hotel is super close to the East Gate of Wansui Mountain—literally just across the street, which was great for popping back to rest when we got tired. However, the breakfast was terrible with very few options. We had it the first day, but gave up and ordered delivery the next. The food delivery robot brought it right to our door, which was quite convenient. The road in front of the hotel is quite narrow and tricky for cars to navigate, so I'd recommend setting your ride-hailing drop-off/pick-up point at the intersection."
