"Pros: Relatively clean, bright room, separate wet and dry areas, complete toiletries, and the shower facilities were locked to prevent malicious intent… A sofa and chair set was provided, quite comfortable to sit on, made of leather that doesn't easily get dirty and is easy to wipe clean. It looked clean. Cons: I booked two rooms two days in advance, including one family room. I called the front desk to ask them to contact me if a family room became available. On check-in day, they called to say there were rooms available, so I quickly cancelled one and booked another, which cost over twenty yuan more. I explained the reason upon check-in and hoped for two breakfast vouchers, but they refused. Even hotel staff have a hard time. Furthermore, the room didn't provide slippers, and the disposable slippers were very slippery and easy to slip on. I slipped and fell at the bathroom door, thankfully without serious injury. The bedside lamp was quite creative, but it was broken and couldn't be turned off! We spent a long time figuring out how to cover it up in the middle of the night."

"I don't know how this hotel got a 4.9 rating. I've stayed in over a dozen hotels during my road trip, and this is the worst. How can they have the nerve to suggest that Chinese people should sleep better when traveling? Service: When I asked the front desk about parking, they just pointed to a spot in front of the door, even though there was a car in that spot. Don't the staff have any sense of responsibility? I asked for two extra bottles of water, and they said they'd charge extra for more. Having stayed in so many hotels, this is the first time I've encountered such a stingy and uncouth establishment. Facilities: The soundproofing is terrible, absolutely terrible. The sound of doors opening and people talking was crystal clear throughout the four-story hallway; it was practically like having the doors open. There was no overhead shower. The disposable slippers were incredibly thin, almost like paper. There was no air conditioning in the hallway. In mid-June in Hubei, the hallway was completely uncooled, so you can imagine how stuffy it was. Environment: The window of the smart double room faced a wall; forget about the view, you couldn't even get a normal line of sight."
