"The room facilities and cleanliness were good, and the female taxi driver who dropped us off at the station was very friendly. However, Firstly, it was incredibly noisy. We were planning a night hike up Lafa Mountain and wanted to get some sleep, but the hotel was located outside a busy commercial street with heavy traffic, and the soundproofing was poor. The guy in the next room was constantly playing games and talking, and I couldn't sleep all night. Secondly, we had already paid 49 yuan to upgrade our room at check-in (the front desk staff were very friendly then). The next morning, after returning from Lafa Mountain, we asked the new front desk staff if we could delay check-out until 2 PM if there were enough rooms available, but they refused, saying they were always fully booked (the taxi driver who took us back from Lafa Mountain said this hotel was relatively expensive in Jiaohe and not very popular). They said we had to pay another 49 yuan to upgrade. We said we had already upgraded and asked about breakfast, but they even checked our room type, as if we were trying to scam them out of breakfast. Their attitude was incredibly low and made us uncomfortable. This is the first time I've been so speechless in all my hotel stays."

"The view from the room features Songhua Lake and hills on the opposite bank. The food in the restaurant is more expensive than in the city, but still tasty. The included breakfast consists of some starters, soup, and pastries – nothing more. The room did not match the description on Trip.com: a washing machine was not available. The construction of the tree house is poor – too cold on the first floor and too warm on the second. There are gaps between the planks on the walls, allowing cold air to enter. Around the hotel, there are several abandoned buildings. The resort is far from Jilin city, so leaving the area is difficult without a car. It might be suitable for active people with their own transport who want to use water scooters, as there are no other entertainment options. We booked two nights but decided to move to Jilin after the first night. Additionally, a small frog was present in the restroom of our tree house."
