"Me and my friend were on vacation and had a lovely stay here! The main restaurant is located in a wonderful place, with a picturesque view, so you can enjoy very tasty food and the ocean at the same time. Delicious seafood, meat, and all the dishes are very wonderful. Oh en don’t forget to drink the delicious cocktails at the bar! Our room was located on the ground floor, with a beautiful garden, and 30 sec walk to te white sandy beach. Our room was cleaned daily. All the staff were really friendly and their service was great! We enjoyed every minute of our holiday and we will definitely return to this magical place with joy. We felt rested and relaxed when we left. Thank you!"

Reef & Beach Resort - Spa Jambiani ★★★★

"I would rate the resort 3.5 stars. The location, with a jetty bar on stilts is fabulous; albeit quite remote from the nearest village with facilities. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful when needed. The spring fed main pool is one of the best I've been in, warm and not chlorinated (tested for bacteria daily). The food was good, without being exceptional and the all inclusive drinks were a little restricted. There was a problem with flies in the pool bar and the main dining room, which could be remedied with a few Insectocutors. The facilities were pretty good, with pool tables and table tennis available, also a kids club. Excursions were pricey if arranged at the hotel, so we arranged ours with local guides easily and much cheaper. The on site shops had some reasonable quality items, again on the pricey side. Our main gripe was with the spa, we booked a 4 massage deal, but my wife was bruised on an aroma therapy massage and felt there was no knowledge of what a lymphatic flush massage should entail; we told the man who arranged it but didn't get a great response. I had one massage, but we didn't take the last one due to lack of confidence in what we would get. It appears to be a training and communication issue. Wifi on site is very erratic and slow, although the Jetty Bar appears to be a bit better signal. We had a nice time and will be leaving well rested. Would I recommend? Not sure."

De har været på en lille ø, sandbank to af os og vores guide.SuperB-udsigter og oplevelser uden masser og masseturisme. "This hotel grew on us and turned out to be a very enjoyable stay. When we first arrived, it was after 11 PM and our driver was unable to drive all the way up to the front gate due to the late hour and some minor road repairs. There was no one to formally welcome us due to the lateness. We later found out that the reception hours are from 8 AM-10 PM. We were able to get into our room from a security person, but we did not have wi-fi. We also were missing blankets. We were very skeptical, but then in the morning things turned around. With receptions help, we were able to get on wi-fi, easily get additional pillows, blankets, and towels and ended up really enjoying our stay. Other reviews are correct in that the doors to the rooms are wooden shutters and this can make noise a slight issue if you want to sleep in, but we were right by the reception and lounge and had no issues with noise. The cleanliness of the rooms was fine, especially for a beach hotel with lots of sand. Because of the doors/shutters, we were careful with mosquitos getting in by keeping the shutters closed and the lights off in the evening, we had no issues. This is definitely a mid-range priced hotel, if you are used to 5 star beach resorts, you will be disappointed, but if you are happy with reasonable accommodations with a beautiful view for a low price, it's great. We stayed here after our safari to rest and recover and it was perfect for that. It was quiet, good food and drinks, relaxing."

"We stayed at Sea View Lodge for a week and, while the location is undeniably great – right on the beach and close to everything in Jambiani – our overall experience was mixed. The food was fresh and did improve slightly each day, but the menu was repetitive and quickly became monotonous. For a week-long stay, we expected more variety and creativity. Cleanliness was inconsistent. Our room was not always cleaned to a satisfactory standard, and we noticed issues with the bathroom and common areas on several occasions. We also had to remind staff about basic housekeeping more than once. Service was hit or miss. Two people in the restaurant (a male waiter and a young woman) were genuinely friendly and attentive, and one person at reception was helpful – but the rest of the staff seemed uninterested or unmotivated, which affected the overall atmosphere. No major problems occurred, but the lack of attention to detail and the average food and cleaning standards mean we can only give Sea View Lodge a maximum of 4 out of 5. With some improvements in staff training and more focus on maintaining cleanliness, this could be a much better place. We recommend it for the location and a few standout staff members, but management needs to step up to meet the expectations of guests staying for more than just a couple of nights."

"After a 2-week safari on the mainland with family, the Loop Beach Resort was a delightful place for just my wife and me to relax and unwind. The resort provides a small, quiet, unpretentious place with excellent staff, comfy rooms, and delicious food. We were concerned at check-in because we arrived late and the lobby/lounge area was dark with music playing loudly which made the process difficult. But after getting to our room and sleeping very well we woke to a beautiful sunrise and a delicious breakfast. All of our concerns were gone. The staff were excellent. They got to know guests and were very attentive making sure we were comfortable. The pool was beautiful, overlooking the ocean, perfect for a quiet dip and maybe swim a few laps. It was great to step out onto the beach for a walk. We had massages that were a perfect treat to include. The resort is remote from most of the activities the island offers. They can arrange activities and transportation but it was always a somewhat long ride to get anywhere. That’s the trade off to staying at a quiet place. If you do schedule an activity with the concierge, be sure to ask about details so you take everything you’ll need for the day. It was easy to forget about planning details for a day trip."
