"This place is absolutely stunning. Nothing has been left to chance. Our suite - Casalore - was exceptionally well fitted out and large. The pool was perfect. The views stunning. Service, from check in to check out, was perfect. What works quite well is that the resort doesn't have many rooms, but they are all spread out over multiple levels. One some days we didn't see another guest, other than at breakfast. If you would like total relaxation, come here. It would have been nice if Limeni or Aeropolis were within walking distance. They are not, but driving is simple and easy enough (5 mins each, max), and there's a reliable taxi to both (15EUR and 20EUR each way, respectively)."

"A beautiful hotel with the most stunning views of the bay. The pool is spacious and has a very nice beat for drinks and snacks. Employees are helpful and well trained. The breakfast is really good and sitting out eating while taking in the views is so relaxing. My one complaint is that the chairs on our patio were very low and when you sat in them, it was hard to see the view. Everything else was perfect!"

Hvert medarbejder var professionel, venlig og respektfuld.Værelserne var alle ekstremt rene, rummelige og udsigterne var spektakulære.Maden var fremragende og overflodsfuld. Rummet selv for bryllupsceremonien, cocktailtid og aftenreceptionen var ideelt, og udsigten var BREATHING! Hotellets beliggenhed var en perfekt afstand fra Limeni (og hvad en udsigt i aften) og flere andre charmerende byer og strande.De havde en spektakulær uendelighedspool, der var så rolig ... aldrig støjende ... dag eller aften. De arbejdede godt med alle de eksterne forhandlere, som vi valgte, som gjorde bryllupsugenatten slidfri og stressfri.Deres pris var meget rimelig, og vi fik UDFØRT VALUE-tjeneste. "The positive interaction with the face of the hotel, manager Sophi, began before our arrival. Sophi embodies the highest level of hospitality, paired with genuine candor and her generously sharing favorite local spots the moment we arrived. It was a pleasure to chat with her each morning. She took time to speak with every guest and made sure we were enjoying our stay. There's an easy, welcoming vibe at Anemos that you notice right away, and it's clearly the result of Sophi and the lovely family who own the hotel. It's rare to be so in sync with someone's recommendations, but every single one Sophi gave us was spot on. Instead of endlessly researching where to go each day, we just worked our way through her list, one perfect spot after another. Daily breakfasts were home cooked and delicious, and the smiling faces of the entire team were a constant throughout our stay. The well appointed rooms suited our family of four well. The layout gave us space to relax and separate after a full day out exploring Sophi's favorite local spots. There are hotels right on the water in Gerolimenas. I would still choose Anemos, hands down, for its hospitality and easygoing atmosphere. Thank you to the entire team for making this trip truly special and beyond memorable."

"Context - family from the UK who have travelled extensively around Greece in small, boutique hotels. Hotel - set in the most beautiful location with amazing views over the bay. The view from the breakfast room is breath-taking. It is however on a very steep hill and not suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The walk to breakfast each morning certainly burnt a few calories! Pool - the view from the pool is amazing, however during the peak season, probably too small for the size of the hotel. On a couple of days we couldn't get sunbeds in the afternoon when returning to the hotel. There is also a somewhat militant pool lady who will remove your towel and belongings if you dare leave your bed for more than 15/20 mins. One day, we decided to spend the whole day by the pool. After being there since 10am, at 1.30pm we went to get lunch. As we were coming back, we left our towels on two beds, the beach bag and other personal items. To our dismay, when returning an hour and half later, everything had been removed and someone else was sat there! I'm all for monitoring the reserving of sunbeds, but this was extreme and seemed a bit heavy handed. As she doesn't get to the pool until midday, she clearly hadn't appreciated we had been sat there since 10am, unlike some others who we noticed placed towels down at 9am and did not appear at the pool until midday. This however went unnoticed due to her working hours. Another issue we had is getting clean towels. As the pool didn't officially open until midday, clean towels were only available after this time. We have young children and are usually by the pool at 10am. Therefore instead of getting clean towels at midday, we requested clean ones at the end of the day around 6pm in readiness for the next day. Well the pool lady did not like this. On two occasions, she refused to provide these, despite only 10 minutes earlier happily handing them out to others. It was only due to my insistence that she handed them over with a rude huff. In all hotels we have previously stayed at, towels are simply in a trolley or box near the pool and you help yourself when you arrive at the pool and hand in at the end of the day. The rather strict towel policy was somewhat frustrating. Food - the breakfast is very nice and varied with lots of fresh, homemade food on offer. An alternative breakfast juice would be a bonus as if you don't like orange juice, there was nothing else on offer. More fresh fruit would also be beneficial. We did not eat at night, but the restaurant has the most spectacular sunset view and appeared busy later on (after 8.30). Room - we had a ground floor family suite. The room was well set up with effectively 2 bedrooms, one for the kids and one for us. A huge balcony with an amazing view. The room was very dark however, especially in the morning and especially in the bathroom with not much natural light. Also a lack of a full length mirror. A big issue was the lack of storage space. "Simply put, Tainaron Blue Retreat has provided me the most wonderful visit and stay I have had in all my 68 years. For context, I grew up in Southern California, and I have been many places in my life including Hawaii, islands in the Caribbean, and several Greek islands as well (Santorini, Mykonos, Paros, Corfu, Skiathos, etc) , but Mani and in particular Cape Tainaron is now by far my favorite place. Making my visit there ultimately unparalleled was my stay at Taianron Blue retreat . With its tranquility and majestic views, its beautiful accommodations , Kostas' incredible and detailed hospitality, and the wonderful food as well, Taianron Blue was ironically not as the region was thought of in ancient time as the gateway to hades, but in fact Heaven on Earth!!! It simply was perfect and I highly recommend it. Unfortunately my wife could not come with me for this visit but I am already hounding her for a return next summer!"
