"Great hotel location – very close to the main tourist street. The famous Yury Gagarin club is nearby. Judging by the hotel's condition, it seems to have been recently renovated. However, there were a couple of issues. First, our room had an emergency exit to the roof with a constantly lit sign. It was impossible to sleep with that light, but luckily we had sleep masks. Second, the hotel's hammam doesn't have a steam generator; the 'steam' is supposed to come from running tap water!"

"I booked the best view room at this hotel, hoping to enjoy the scenery and create beautiful memories on my last night in Istanbul. The hotel's location is at the heart of Taksim's commercial street, with views right outside the window and direct access to the street downstairs. The only drawback is that the hotel staff's service wasn't very sincere... Upon check-in, we specifically communicated multiple times that we needed a few extra large bath towels. I explained that after a long drive, my neck and lower back were very uncomfortable, and I needed the towels to fold as a pillow and for lumbar support... After two rounds of evasion and negotiation with the front desk staff, he said, "I'm sorry, each room in our hotel is only equipped with two towels, we don't have any extras." I was curious: "Don't rooms usually have more than two? And can you ensure they're replaced daily after cleaning...?" He replied, "I'm sorry, each room only has two." My cervical spine isn't good, and coupled with the long drive, my lower back was very uncomfortable. I absolutely needed a towel that night... so I continued to ask, "Could you please check the linen room for me? See if you can find two, or even small towels if there are any extras?" Finally, the staff knocked on the door and said, "I'm sorry, we only have two..." As he spoke, he handed me two noticeably old towels... The funny thing is, when I checked out the next day, I found the linen room right next door, filled with two storage racks full of clean towels...!!! I was speechless."

The entire minibar is chargeable and very expensive; you only get one small bottle of water for free."

"Oplevelsen var ikke god. Hotellet nævnte i reklamen 300 m til Taksim, men det var omkring 1 km eller mere. Der er kun en shuttlebus, der kører fra Taksim og ikke vender tilbage. Så er der konstant en dårlig lugt fra toilettet til værelset. Vi fik en rapport for det, og så kom nogle for at putte noget opløsning i toilettet, men lugten forsvandt.
