"I stayed at this property, I had a very good time. excellent food and friendly staff. the hotel is very large, the food delicious! the wellness center is really large and I didn't expect it, I want to congratulate the girl from the spa staff , her name is Lucia, she was helpful and told me various things about the island. "Our room had a balcony and looked out over the 2 pools, and had a sea view. The room was less equipped than we are used to. The mini bar was either locked or jammed shut. The air conditioning was similar to an asthmatic mouse blowing through a straw, there was no kettle or drinks making facilities, and dated 70s decor . The shower worked well. The room was large and clean. The few plugs were type C two pin. The waiting staff in the restaurant were excellent, English is not one of the most used languages in the hotel,so get used to the words you will need. Mostly German and Italian. It says it’s a no smoking hotel with no pets, we saw both pets and smokers. Would I go again, (I may not be welcome after this review) would I recommend, maybe."

"Very nice hotel. Perfectly located in the center of activity. Restaurants, stores and beaches nearby. Easy stroll to port and ferries. Staff was very helpful. Room was large with nice terrace and very comfortable bed. Great shower with hot water and good water pressure. Would happily stay again."

"We stayed a week in June this year after the experience in July 2020. We were also satisfied with the change of management. Welcoming staff available for any request. Very good breakfast with sweet and savory foods. The rooms are spartan but with everything you need, comfortable mattresses and beds. A negative note is the shower a little small and the annoying mosquitoes. In addition, since our room was on the street side, we could sometimes hear the people below us, in the garden, even late at night (between one and two). We could still go back"

"Me and my friend went to Ischia for the film festival. I chose this place firstly for the location because of its close proximity to the castle. Then because breakfast was included, which was a very good selection, which offered excellent value for money, if just for the coffee alone. The traditional set up and being family run really appealed to me and everyone was so so helpful and friendly.....from the girls at breakfast to the night staff and everyone in between. Francesco was super friendly and fun and Rafael went above and beyond for us to get to another part of the island and mama for translating messages! . I had a single room, which was just perfect for me. No aircon wasn't a problem as you can leave the window open and with the the ceiling fan made the room really airy. It's much nicer than artificial air con. I loved how you could hire a beach towel for as little as 4€ for someone travelling very light. Having the fridge in the room was great to keep drinks cold. The shower was very nice with wonderful pressure. I would 100% choose this hotel again. I booked direct with the hotel and communication was super and everything was so easy. Thanks again to all the staff/owners for the hospitality and making us feel so so welcome. Hope to return soon!"

"We just came back from a 7-night stay at the Hotel Mare Blu, and while having an overall positive experience, I wouldn't stay here again. Upon walking into our room, the bathroom was not clean, and the furniture was quite outdated. There was mold in the corner of our bathroom, and the pillows were so flat you might as well not had one. The staff was friendly and polite, and the included breakfast was appreciated. A big issue throughout our stay was that we could only access the WiFi network in our room for two of the seven days of our stay, despite consistently asking the front desk to remedy the issue. "
