Acteon Hotel ★★

"Myself and 3 friends stayed at Acteon for 3 nights in July. The rooms were clean, and we had a balcony with a good view of the port. However, we were slightly disappointed as we were told that we'd have a safe in the room (there wasn't) and the wifi was very temperamental, we had to sit on the floor right by the door to access it and they only give you 24 hour usage. Nevertheless, we were happy with the room and we were only a five minute walk from the port beach. The main town of Chora is only a short bus ride away (€1,60 per trip) and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. There is a large selection of restaurants to choose from very close by. Thank you for a memorable stay!"

"Hotel didnt want to cancel the booking when ferry was cancelled and I cant get on island. Because of this I had to lay twice for 2 ferries and finally reached the island. Location is comfortable. Near ferry station, supermarket, bus station and several bars and cafes"

"I've been talking to him from September 1st to June to give me room. I accepted any condition they told me, the amount of money they asked and the date until which they could grant me a servant (by 20 June the space may be available according to their so-called) And I was waiting for a country to empty for me from a date and then (as they told me) a country available to teachers. The last moment I went to close it (after I told him live and telephonely I was ready), he canceled me through the cleaner who was in the room, since he himself was absent ... Obviously he was not ready to give it from the start. He's right, but he should have been clear ... Never for any reason there! A shame and only is the least!!"

"I am not staying at this hotel, but I went in to ask for directions as I was lost. The owners were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help me locate my accomodation. The lady, Lenny (sorry if spelt wrong), then drove me and my luggage to the correct place as it was a 10 minute walk down the road. Amazing kind people. Thank you."

"I don't recommend it! There was no one at the reception, and when someone showed up, it was the hotel employee. The owner refused to come and help us. After the employee insisted, he came. In the room, the water was brown and the shower was dirty and had bits of rust coming out, making it impossible to shower. The furniture was old and the bed was extremely hard. Insects started to appear, like centipedes, spiders, and ladybugs. After exploring further, we noticed that the balcony doors had openings through which bugs were entering and exiting the wood. The good parts were the refrigerator and the view. The hotel employee was very friendly but didn't speak English."
