"The room I was stay in was under construction out of my window. There was a big plastic cover and wind can’t come thru the room. It was a hot day when I checked in. There is no air conditioner in the room. There is only a small fan provided in the room. It was so hot with no fresh air, I asked the front desk to switch another room, but the hotel was fully booked. The bedsheet was so wrinkled. I know this is a historic building but every is so out of date. I won’t stay or recommend anyone stay here."

"Excellent place to stay in Interlaken. My daughter and I booked a double room with a private bathroom. The room was a great size, the beds were comfortable, and the shower was very good. The reception staff was great, they answered questions, gave us several suggestions for tours, and were very helpful. We also found the breakfast to be very good and varied, especially when compared to other similar establishments. The kitchens that can be used are fully equipped and very useful. And the location is excellent, close to the city center and halfway between Interlaken Ost and Interlaken West, which is even within walking distance. In short, I would not only go back but I would recommend it to other people."

"Vi elskede stedet - personalet er usædvanligt - vi stillede flere spørgsmål, der blev håndteret godt, og de gav os også anbefalinger rundt om byen.Vi besøgte Harder Kulm, som var spektakulær. Nedsiden er, at hotellet ikke har fan eller aircondition i vores værelse, så på varme dage var det ekstra varmt, og du kan høre hver whisper med åbne vinduer. Hotellet har heller ikke køleskab i værelserne, men så længe receptionen var åben, var personalet glad for at holde tingene i deres hovedkøleskab. Generelt gammel chalet, super smuk og meget anbefalet.Hvis du er en let søvnsner, så tag øjenmaske til søvn og ørepropper. Der var begrænsede valg, men croissanter var blot en absolut perfekt og smuk miljø med antikke."

"This hotel is super conveniently located, just about 400 meters, a few minutes' walk, from Interlaken West train station and the Lake Thun ferry terminal. There are bars, restaurants, and a supermarket nearby, which is great. When you check in, the front desk gives you a free bus pass. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful. There's a lounge on the ground floor with a microwave and utensils for guests, and coffee and hot water are available 24/7 for free. The owner is a kind, warm, and funny old gentleman. If you're coming to Interlaken, definitely choose this hotel – you'll be happy you did!"
