"We stayed at this hotel for three nights, and unfortunately, our experience was unacceptable from the start. We arrived at 10:30 PM after a long day of travel, traveling with three children, only to discover that none of the four rooms we had booked had hot water. This meant we were unable to shower upon arrival. Despite the circumstances and the fact that we were with kids, there was no urgency or effort from the staff to resolve the issue. We immediately informed reception, but were told the problem could only be addressed the following day. That same evening, we found a cockroach in one of the rooms and killed it. When we reported this to reception, they said they would “note it.” However, the dead cockroach remained on the carpet for the entire duration of our stay—four days—without being cleaned. This clearly reflects a serious lack of hygiene and housekeeping standards. The bathrooms were never properly cleaned during our stay, and no effort was made to address this despite the obvious condition. The hotel pool was also in very poor condition and clearly not maintained to an acceptable standard. On the day of checkout, we once again had no hot water. When we raised this issue at reception, instead of addressing it professionally, we were blamed for the situation. A man who appeared to be the owner (he never introduced himself) became aggressive, argued with us, and even threatened to call the police. Security staff were present, yet the situation continued to escalate unnecessarily. We were told that if we did not pay, the police would come and arrest us. Additionally, inappropriate and offensive comments were made, including statements expressing frustration with Slovenians, despite the fact that we communicated respectfully in Bosnian. This behavior is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Based on our experience, I strongly advise others to avoid this hotel."

"Unfortunately, I have mixed feelings: the hotel is formally a 5-star establishment. The staff are friendly and speak English. The complex is modern and you can see that it has been recently renovated. The internet is very fast. The restaurant serves good quality food, although it is not very local (quite international, all meals), I would have liked to try the local specialities. The hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful park with Roman bath ruins, which are not properly showcased. A 10-minute walk away, you will find all amenities (tram station, bus, taxi, restaurants, supermarket, etc.). However, having stayed for a week, I never had the chance to use the sauna. In the room, I was comfortable in the bed and in the living area. However, the television never worked (which wasn't a problem because I used my tablet and Wi-Fi), and unfortunately, the bathroom was poorly constructed (the shower leaked because the floor was not designed to keep the water inside the shower), with the sink unfortunately splashing water everywhere and the toilet too close to the door. In short, I would give it a rating of 3 to 4, but I'm giving it a 4 for the courtesy of the staff."
