"Came down for my nephews wedding at The Tunnels wedding venue and stayed at this amazing b & b! We were down earlier than expected and the owner kindly let us into the room earlier than stated- many thanks for that it was greatly appreciated. The room was so beautiful and clean too. Definitely highly recommend and hope to come back soon for a longer break next time."

"This was the second time we stayed at Newbury Beach Lodge, our second visit was as good as the first. Chris and Jane are very friendly, helpful and excellent hosts. The room was large, comfy and ours had a view of the beach. Breakfast can be arranged at a time to suit, we chose 7:00am. The food was excellent. Chris was very kind in offering to help out if we got in to trouble on our coast path walk, thankfully we didn't need his services. Combe Martin is a delightful town, the coastal scenery is spectacular. We would recommend Newbury Beach lodge as excellent value for money Bed and Breakfast hotel"

"Basic. Clean and tidy. Nice Breakfast included. Stayed out of season so didn’t get to use the pool. Only dislike was that we were charged a lot more because we used a booking site. Obviously considerably cheaper to book direct."

"Absolutely amazed at the value for money this Bed and Breakfast provides... The breakfast was quality ingredients and excellent choice. Mentioned in passing how hot it was and worse because of my age and on my return back in the afternoon to our room a tower fan was by the bed. Really felt they went above and beyond. Room 6 was a beautiful elegant room with stunning views. We would like to praise the housekeeping staff for exceptional high standards. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard with clean towels and complimentary biscuits. We have stayed in much more expensive hotels that have not provided such a high standard... A bonus to this lovely bed and breakfast was the 2 minute walk to the Thatched Inn for a a lovely meal and drink. Our experience was a lovely break in beautiful surroundings in a welcoming environment..Thank you Laston House Staff 😀"
