"Very old fashioned simple hotel in the centre of Icod. No permanent staff, phone number on front door of pedestrianised street. Simple bedroom over looking street, with two single beds pushed together to appear as a double. No air-conditioning, no safe, very posh shower cubicle in small bathroom. Cool courtyard with 24hour self service coffee, tea and wine. Breakfast room attached to courtyard with simple buffet and eggs cooked to order. The free car park is underground several hundred metres down the hill from the hotel. But it would be possible to drop luggage off at the end of the street outside Beneton."

Min enkeltværelse havde en tilstrækkelig størrelse med eget badeværelse, herunder bruser og toilet. Hver morgen var der en fuld morgenmad, så man kan starte godt i dagen. Den store tagterrasse inviterer til fælles runder eller endda til at slappe af. Jeg kan kun anbefale hostel og vil ikke være sidst der."

"Gorgeous views from the window! Self-check-in. The kitchen is fully equipped, there is everything! The apartment is in excellent condition, very stylish design. It takes about 5 minutes to get to the beach. Of the inconveniences - it is problematic to drag a suitcase up the spiral staircase, the car park is downstairs, about 200 m from the house, and also a very narrow bed - it is almost impossible to sleep together))) But in general, a great location!"

"From June 21st to 28th we stayed here in Icod. A very cute and very characteristic village. It really reflects the true Canarian culture. From here we then traveled daily throughout the island, connected to Icod by 1 hour, 1 hour and 15 minutes by car generally. It is a perfect accommodation if after a day of touring you want to relax and unplug. Heiko (the host) is super helpful and very kind. The apartments are super tidy, simple but comfortable furnishings and well organized. Beach towels are also available (a gem I have never found anywhere else). 4 km away is Playa San Marco and its delicious fish restaurant recommended by Heiko. And 7 km away are some trekking routes with beautiful landscapes."
