"Pros: The staff were incredibly friendly (some spoke English, and some Hispanics spoke Spanish); excellent location in downtown Houston's historic district; unique, very spacious, and well-maintained rooms. Cons: No self-service ice. You have to call room service (considering the tip I'd have to give, I just went downstairs to the bar to get ice myself). Neutral but worth mentioning: Very limited breakfast options. You could order an omelet as part of the semi-buffet, but I couldn't find any staff in the kitchen."

"It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the price was reasonable. I was very satisfied. Bottled water and toothbrushes were provided, which are rare in this price range. I would definitely stay here again when I'm in Houston."

"You can't check in before 3 o'clock. There is a sock at the door of the room. There is a problem with the water in the bathroom. The water flooded the room after taking a shower."
