"Went in with friends for a drink, there was a customer complaining about items missing from their food order, they were really unhappy and asked to see the manager. The complainant was very intimidating and followed the manager around when they were unhappy with the reimbursement offered. The manager was professional at all times. We all make mistakes but the complainant’s behaviour wasn’t very nice but thankfully a difficult situation was handled professionally by the manager."

"Excellent stay at the Poachers arms! Prior to our arrival Lisa was really helpful and offered us recommendations for the local area if required. Information on check in was provided, which was a very nice and easy process. The accommodation itself is perfectly located, with excellent views all round. Inside the family room was spotless and really well decorated. Excellent range of hot drinks and biscuits. Also juice and snacks provided for breakfast. I would highly recommend the Poachers Arms and walks within the area, beautiful place with amazing views!"
