"I am a solo business traveler, and what matters most on arrival is simple: everything is already handled so I can switch off immediately. That’s exactly what Blue Monkey delivered. Before arrival, the concierge sent a detailed questionnaire about my preferences, and it genuinely carried through to the experience. Airport arrival was seamless: fast track waiting, a professional team, and a Land Rover ready outside. Even the in-car music matched what I had requested. I felt like a celebrity! On arrival, I was greeted by name, given a cold towel, and taken straight to my suite (upgraded - thank you!). From there, everything just worked. The team helped arrange my evening at Amara, Cropover plans, local reservations.. you name it! And at the beach club my chair was already set up with staff who knew exactly who I was. That’s the advantage of a smaller luxury property: personal service without feeling forced. I’ve also been coming to the island for 20 years. The suite is excellent. It has the comfort and finish of a Four Seasons but still feels private. The workspace is especially well thought out for business travel, with easy access to outlets and clean cable management. Everything is exactly where you need it. The bathroom is equally strong. Great water pressure, quality bath products, a heated bidet toilet, and all the essentials you often forget. It’s clearly designed by people who understand how guests actually use a room. Bed is so comfortable. Everything is remote controlled (including the curtains). Lighting can be dimmed. Small touches also stand out: the beach bag, ready-to-use Lavazza coffee setup, stocked glassware etc. The only small improvement I’d suggest is adding an iron and ironing board in the room for business travelers… but all I had to do was ask, and the rationale is that they would help send out the linen for pressing. LOVE THAT! Overall, Blue Monkey gets the fundamentals right: you arrive, everything is handled, and you can immediately relax. I have already booked my next trip… but part of me wants this to be the best kept secret on the island so it remains affordable!"

"I was with my daughter at the Tropical Sunset Hotel for 10 days - a dreamful holiday. In the room there is a small kitchen with refrigerator, oven, washing, dishwasher and cottage. This allowed us to buy good fruit from the big supermarket and prepare breakfast. The water in the house can be smoothly drinked. The sea view from the balcony is phenomenal."
