"Breakfast was incredible - absolute highlight of the trip! Sat on the beach with the best view for brekkie! A fair way out from town but a beautiful stretch of beach! One of the nicest beach areas we saw and we walked along this section of the island a few times in our holiday there - excellent relaxing music & a good atmosphere with no children. Good & friendly service, nice and clean room, only negative was we struggled to find the entrance and had to wait for staff to check in. If you get rain be aware the roads get fairly waterlogged but you can just about navigate this."

"AWA er et meget smukt boutique-hotel.Der er nogle forbedringer at gøre, som poolen skal rengøres oftere!Belysningen i vores værelse var meget mørk, så når man sætter makeup på var det en udfordring. Maden i restauranten var okay, undtagen da min mands pizza brændte.Ansatte var meget venlige.Hele byen er meget støv, men det er en lang gåtur til Centro.Så vi brugte altid taxien.Alt i alt nydte jeg min ophold i AWA!"

"Casa del Viento by ÓOL – A Major Letdown Compared to Our First Stay Wow — what a complete downturn from our last visit to Holbox. The first time we stayed at Hotel Paraiso, we truly felt like we were in paradise. This time, we chose Casa del Viento by ÓOL, and unfortunately, it was a disappointment. There was nowhere to hang our clothes, not a single chair in the room, and the beds were uncomfortably small. The idea of cleanliness seemed to rely solely on the chemical smell they sprayed — but in reality, the room was dusty and full of bugs. We killed at least 35 insects the first night just to be able to sleep. The noise level was insane — loud music and shouting until 2 AM, and then the chaos started again at 6 AM. Forget about rest. The front desk staff was indifferent, primarily or outright rude, except for Sofia, who was the only helpful and polite person we encountered. She greeted guests with warmth and seemed to care — the rest, unfortunately, did not. What’s frustrating is that the problems are so easily fixable — buy a chair for each room, add a small desk, install a few hangers, and actually clean the place properly. Instead, the management seems completely uninterested in improving the guest experience. This hotel felt like a cheap nomad hostel dressed up with boutique pricing, and I would never stay here again. There’s no effort, no comfort, and no hospitality — just noise, dust, bugs, and bad vibes. Choose somewhere else."
