"Vi var på vej med vores to børn, og hotelpersonalet kunne ikke have været mere foretrukne. Siden vi ankom, har de gjort alt for at få os til at føle os godt. Receptionen overrasker vores børn endda med små velkomstposer fulde af legetøj, hvilket var en dejlig gest. De har altid kigget på os og spurgt, om vi har brug for ekstra håndklæder eller om børnene vil have varm chokolade. Det føltes som om det var vigtigt for dem, at vores familie føler sig hjemme."

"My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Parkhotel Adler, and I must say, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking location and peaceful surroundings of the hotel. The history of the hotel added a special charm to our stay, making it even more memorable. The modern and well-maintained hotel rooms provided us with the perfect retreat, and the accommodating staff exceeded all our expectations. From the reception desk to the restaurant staff, everyone made us feel welcome and valued throughout our stay. We were truly impressed by the level of service and attention to detail exhibited by the entire team. Our visit coincided with the birth of two baby deer in the deer reserve, adding a touch of magic to our experience. The pools, spas, steam rooms, and saunas were equally delightful, providing us with the perfect opportunity to unwind and relax. The restaurants' food, afternoon tea, and treats were scrumptious, and we thoroughly enjoyed every meal. As individuals working in stressful industries, we truly appreciated the tranquility of the hotel, allowing us to escape and rejuvenate. We are already planning our next visit, and there is no doubt that we will choose to stay at Parkhotel Adler again. Thank you for your generosity and excellent staffing. "Personalet på dette hotel har gjort alt for at gøre vores ophold uforglemmeligt. Efter vores ankomst har vi været velkommen med et varmt smil og en ægte gæstfrihed. Concierge var utrolig hjælpsom og gav os gode anbefalinger til restauranter og seværdigheder i området. Rengøringsservice var af høj kvalitet, og holdet på receptionen spurgte altid, om vi havde brug for noget. Man bemærkede, at de virkelig var i stand til at gøre vores ophold så behageligt som muligt. Selv når vi havde et lille problem med vores værelse, løst de det hurtigt og med en fantastisk holdning! ""

"I spent a week with my kids during the summer. This is not a place for family, the host was furious with my kids and always yelled at them whenever they were inside the hotel or in the garden. The worst experience ever. I would never recommend this place to anyone especially families with kids. Another thing, it feels like a prison during breakfast: only one piece of bread per person, and every time you ask for more, you see a weird look on the face of the hotel manager (in fact, the entire hotel has one person running everything) . I don't think this place deserves the ranking they claim they have. This is not a 3-star hotel for me."

"The lake view was stunning from the room at top floor. But the room was dimmed and lighting was insufficient. The room at ground floor was not well maintained. The shower was blocked and the wind blind facing to front garden was out of order. Although the room provided with kitchen, the facilities was not well equipped."

"This place is not a hotel, It is the expansion of heaven on earth. There is a specific private park at the high level. You cannot come across a staff who is not smiling and expert. Breakfast is natural. Dinner with 3 different menus, Michelin amount and makes you feel good after the meal. I swam in the hot outdoor pool under plenty of oxygen and reset my mind under the chirping of birds. The village of Hinterzarten is a quiet Black Forest element. Parkhotel Adler, together with all its staff, will offer a paradise experience without going to different dimensions. Do we need another word ?"

"Jeg har overnattet 5 nætter. Hotellet ligger centralt i baghave. Værelset var tilstrækkeligt stort og godt udstyret. Sengen var hyggelig og der var en flaske mineralvand på værelset ved ankomsten. Derudover kunne man lave te og kaffe med vandkogeren. Frugt var god og tilstrækkelig. Gæsterne var venlige og foretrukne. "The hotel is very noisy; deliveries start arriving at 6 AM. The rooms facing the street are loud until late in the evening because guests and passersby often have loud conversations on the street. It's impossible to sleep with the window open because the noise echoes in front of the hotel. The carpet is very worn out, and the whole hotel smells strongly of smoke, food, and a general lack of ventilation. We also had a thick shag carpet in our room, the same as in the breakfast room! This is truly unacceptable in a hotel room because it's impossible to keep it properly clean. The management is very unfriendly, which unfortunately affects some of the other staff as well. We were very glad to leave the hotel and would not return under any circumstances. We travel a lot and enjoy it, but this hotel is not one we can recommend."

"My husband and I stayed here for one night to visit the popular Ravenna Gorge Christmas Market. The hotel was easy to find, had parking out front, conveniently located and quaint. We booked a small room for our short stay. It was a tight space, but cozy. The hotel has a lot of character and the breakfast was perfect to fuel us for the day. We took the Hinterzarten shuttle to the Ravenna Gorge market and the hotel was decent walking distance from the train station/shuttle pickup spot. We enjoyed walking around Hinterzarten from the hotel as there were many cute shops nearby."

"About a 12min walk to the train station. Cute little town! Gave it 4 stars because the bed’s mattress was very flat & it was almost like sleeping on a sofa bed - pretty uncomfortable. But the room was really cute, very clean. There was cheese, cold cuts, yogurt & a very tasty bread for breakfast. A few veggies, too. We arrived around 4p & the door to the hotel was locked - almost looked as if no one was there! Rang the doorbell twice & the manager guy came to open it. Overall a good 1 night stay for the Christmas market, which was amazing!! There’s another hotel that’s pretty close to the train station, too. I would’ve preferred to stay closer, actually. There was GlüHwein (for $2.50 euros) & other small wine bottles/ drinks - on the honor system."
