"Restaurant area didn't look as though it had been cleaned properly as food was on the floor from breakfast later on at dinner time and no one had sat there before and some tables needed wiping. But the staff are very helpful & really friendly. We asked to change rooms on arrival as there was a very strong horrible smell. Girl on reception was very efficient & immediately changed our room without a fuss. Would stay here again as the location is perfect. Loved the river running past & the park area in full bloom."

"We arrived at the hotel at 1:50 PM, and check-in was stated very strangely as being after 2:00 PM. At 1:50 PM, we were denied check-in. We waited until 2:08 PM, then approached again. We were denied again 🙌🏻, but I showed the voucher for the specified time, and they checked us in. The room's interior resembled an old manor, with plenty of light thanks to three windows with a wonderful view. The bedding was clean. The TV didn't work. We didn't have an adapter for our chargers, as this isn't a problem in hotels in London. Then they told us they didn't have any adapters and suggested we go buy one ourselves. To put this into perspective, the hotel is in a remote area. The breakfast was below average: no greens or vegetables at all, and a meager selection. The carpet in the rooms was very dirty, as if it hadn't been vacuumed in a couple of weeks. There were spider webs on the ceiling in the bathroom. There is absolutely nothing to do for more than one night in this hotel on the way to Warner Brothers 🙌🏻unless you play golf, of course."
