"First of all… It's a real shame that Hof van Salland itself didn't respond to the submitted evaluation form. A missed opportunity. Our first stay in 2019 was deserving of a good review. It was also sad that the owner/manager kept begging us to leave a good review at the time so they could remain number one in the region. But now, 2025… The interior is definitely due for replacement, but I can live with that. But the poor cleaning/hygiene in the cottage took the cake. The cottage smelled like a wet dog. Under the beds, there was hair and a lot of dust. The pillows smelled of "neck sweat." The screen door in the kitchen was very dirty, brown from sand and dust, then anthracite. The lamp above the table was sticking due to grease and dust. Storage? I closed the door immediately. There was an old, broken bicycle (why?) inside; you couldn't walk in because of the many cobwebs. A lot of old junk was/was lying in another storage room. The headrest of one lounger was broken, so I couldn't use it. The dryer: All hair in the filter. I didn't use it. The bathroom? The UV lights from the sun shower left quite a few stains. The restaurant: the schnitzel wasn't fresh, it came straight from the freezer (the breading came off immediately). The green areas were well-maintained and well-maintained, but I didn't feel comfortable seeing some women crawling around on the ground weeding. Perhaps we could dedicate a few people to the green area and have them help clean the cottages?"

"Solrige sommeraften. Hele terrasse fuldført. Vi fik et bord i et hjørne. Ikke det sjoveste sted. Smerte havde. Tre gange valgt. Fortrinsvis ceviche af makrel. Især meget lille gem blade. Makrel, som var god smag, fundet med forstørret glas. Rødt med tillæg var 3 små stykker af fisk af 3x3 cm plus nogle små flodkrebs. Det smagte bare så lidt. Diamant haj fik heller ikke nogen ledsager. Som en ekstraordinær til 2 personer kartofler og varme grøntsager. Det viste sig således en lille halvt smagsfuld kartofler og isroer. Rabarberen i desserten var hård og havde ingen smag. Vinen var heller ikke rigtig smagsfuld. Men ja, det var ubehageligt at sige nej, mens flasken var åbnet for os. 7 euro for et glas, mens en flaske ikke koster ti."
