"The property and location is really good. However the service is really poor and not that of a premium place at the price we had booked the stay. The staff is untrained, and most cannot converse in English or the local language, it was hard to convey basic messages with few of the staff. The person responsible for taking out on Trek was giving absurd reasons for not taking us on trek. Our room was situated at the bottom of the hill, where noisy excavation work was being carried out during our stay, the buggy did not turn up a couple of times even during our check out and we had to walk our way uphill with our luggage. The manager was nearby at the reception, but did not bother to even check with us when we were visibly upset and was in general aloof. The property has good potential for a refreshing getaway, but with the current management and lack of service mindset(at this cost) it just isn't worth staying....expected a better stay with 4+ star disappointed this time. PS: The food menu is literally few lines, and most of the listed items were not available. No local specialty, just a few handful dishes which were okay. "

"We had an amazing time at Kadumane Hills Veg Resort. The resort offers a lot of activities for kids, including swimming pool, rope activities, and zipline. The visit to the local waterfalls and sunset point was wonderful . The early morning walk on the paddy fields was a surreal experience. The location is serene and calm, making it the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city with your family. The food was excellent too... This resort is highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun-filled and relaxing getaway."

"At the outset, I want to clarify that I am not affiliated with the hotel in any way. This is solely my personal opinion. As I understand, this hotel has been in operation for 38 years. I must emphasize that everything is impeccably clean. I would rate the toilets, beds, lobby, and general facilities on the ground floor as A+. The food served here is also exceptional. The staff members are extremely courteous, and I must commend the front receptionist, Bhumica, for her professionalism. Regarding the room tariff, it's approximately Rs. 5000+ per night. If within your budget, I highly recommend anyone visiting Hassan to consider staying here. Additionally, there is a lovely jewelry shop within the hotel compound, adding to the convenience and charm of the place."

"Beautiful resort with spacious rooms and surroundings, located on the backwaters of Votehole dam/Kaveri Basin. Property is well maintained and continuously improving stay experience. Due to pet friendly environment, we enjoyed our stay. Staff (Madhu and Akshaya) was welcoming and helpful. Property has ample space for various activities which includes options for both kids and adults. Access to pristine backwater lake behind the resort (3-4 mins walk) makes this place even more attractive. Their swimming pool is big and well maintained. There is room for improvement in food and cleanliness of the room."

"I wish I could give zero stars to this hotel, but unfortunately, I'm forced to give one star purely for the helpfulness of the staff. Beyond that, this was the most horrendous experience I've ever had at a hotel. The moment I arrived, I realized that my wife and I were the only guests at the resort, which was terrifying and unsettling. 3-feet long grass, and slippery green algae all around. The entire place felt abandoned and neglected for months (Please see the pictures for yourselves and be the judge). Only two staff members were present, and while they were helpful, their assistance couldn’t make up for the disastrous state of the hotel. The lack of basic amenities was appalling. There was no electricity or water, making it impossible to have a comfortable stay. The place was infested with spiders and insects, adding to the nightmarish experience. The bedding and plates were filthy and unhygienic, and to top it off, water seeped into the room all night due to the rain. It was utterly miserable and unacceptable. The entire property was in disrepair, unmanaged, and uninhabitable. For a room that cost INR 3,495, this was an absolute rip-off. The resort’s (very remote) location on the outskirts with limited nearby hotels only added to the helplessness of the situation. In summary, this hotel is an absolute disaster. The one star is solely for the staff, who did their best in a hopeless situation. Avoid this place at all costs if you value your sanity and well-being."
