"I was returning to the property after a year and I was first greeted by Mr. Yamlal, who happens to be best hotel guard I have encountered till date. He made way for me to park my car to the side on the narrow road to deboard the luggage and he also made all the arrangements for me to able to park the car myself. You should note that the hotel is located in the narrow lanes of Haridwar and there is no parking within the hotel premises. The hotel has made parking arrangements at a large common parking lot located about 150 metres from the hotel. We received a warm welcome by the staff upon arrival. The style of welcome is very unique to this property. The second entry gate opens into the beautiful courtyard with views of the river Ganges. The front office staff were extremely warm and courteous and they obliged to our early check-in request, and we were promptly taken to our room upon being offered some welcome beverages and snacks. We had booked one of the Seleqtions Suites. Our suite room was extremely spacious and very beautifully designed. The room had a dining table, separate living area with a partition with the bedroom. The partition had a TV which could rotate to cater to guests on both sides of the wall, which I found to be very ingenious. The suite had a double-sized balcony with incredible views of the river. Further, since the bed was placed close to the window, the river was clearly visible from the bed itself. The bathroom was large and equally well designed. There was a large brass bathtub as well, which added to the appeal. Our suite was on Level 3 and the other suite is on Level 1. The two might have different layouts and views. Our entire culinary experience during our stay was commendable. The food served in the main restaurant is also served in the room for IRD. They also had a pan-asian restaurant on the terrace. The hotel also has a lovely spa in its premises. We enjoyed a relaxing couples therapy in their couple suite. The therapy rooms come with attached steam facilities as well. Overall, the service at the property was excellent. All staff members appeared to be very well trained and customer experience appeared to be the utmost priority. The Televisions in the room were not SMART TVs and we could not watch our favourite shows from the OTT platforms, however, the hotel was kind enought to arrange and set-up and extra long HDMI cable so we could play our favourite shows and movies on the television from the bed itself. Our departure was hassle free and we left feeling refreshed and gratified. I think this property is a gem in the Taj portfolio of hotels. The feeling inside is very unique and the curated experiences here truly elevate the stay. I strongly recommend staying at this property to experience calm and tranquillity."

"Vi havde en stor ophold på Hotel Godwin.Hele personalet (reception, restaurant, husholdning og sikkerhed) behandlede os og andre gæster med stor gæstfrihed og samarbejde.Værelset var godt tildelt, fredelig, rummelig og ren. Badeværelserne var rene og et godt hygiejneniveau blev opretholdt.Husholdningsholdet var meget responsivt.De har en indendørs restaurant.Golden Mushroom, og jeg må sige, at den mad, der tilbydes her, var simpelthen stor. Restaurantens personale var fantastisk, der altid serverede frisk kogt og stor kvalitet af mad med en bred vifte af muligheder.Særlig tak til hr. Ashutosh Sharma, hr. Vishal og hr. Anuj Upadhayay for hurtig service. Hotellet har også indkøbscenter for kvinders kjole og smykker, der har en god samling på et rimeligt prisområde.Poolen var ren og sikker, selv om vi ikke brugte den på grund af koldt vejr. Beliggenheden af dette hotel i Haridwar - Rishikesh motorvej er derfor lidt væk fra Har ki Pauri, men biler er tilgængelige til en minimumspris på 20-30 pr. person og det er omkring 2.5hrs væk fra Devprayag.Vores overnatningssted var fantastisk."

"We had an outstanding stay at Ekaanta from 13-15 Dec 2025. The hotel location is excellent, not too far from main Haridwar and at the same time, location is secluded and serene. The rooms with the Ganga view were just beautiful , the hotel decor and cleanliness are a class apart. The activities planned by the hotel are excellent right from the yog nidra sessions, the yoga at the ghat or the adventurous walk in the Rajaji National Park by the mighty Ganges, the Ayurvedic doctor consultation and the Ayurvedic massage therapy sessions - all these gave a deep insight into the balance of mental and physical states of self. The evening private Aarti followed by Bhajan Sandhya gave the goosebumps with its divinity. The hotel food, served with warmth, was Satvik and delicious. Special mention to Mr Pradeep Banerjee and his team for the excellent hospitality."
