"Congtai Guest House Location: Adjacent to Congtai Park to the north, across from the New Century Shopping Center, and a 10-minute walk to Handan Road. The overall location is good, the hotel is pleasant, and the three-story building is relatively quiet. Parking: Free parking is available within the courtyard, and there are spaces near each building. No license plate is required, and it's likely free for out-of-town vehicles. Facilities: Large rooms with high ceilings. Smart controls are very convenient. The suite has two bathrooms, with separate wet and dry areas and a smart toilet. The mattress is a comfortable firmness. The shower water isn't large enough, but the temperature is perfect. There's no refrigerator, but the rooms have plenty of water. The tea bar is a bit basic. The Wi-Fi signal in the rooms is spotty. Service: The overall service is excellent, and the staff are generally well-mannered. They provided fruit and snacks. Breakfast: On the first floor of Building 5, the food is plentiful and delicious. There's also a buffet in the evening. Overall, this is an established hotel, reportedly catering to foreign guests, but it's not very new."

The location is excellent, the ramp pedestrian street is just outside the door, Congtai Park and Toddler Bridge are within walking distance, and it is super convenient to play. The whole hotel is designed with the core of the idiom and Zhao culture. The lobby and guest rooms are full of details, and the photos are very good. The room is brand new and intelligent, the health is impeccable, and the bed is very comfortable. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the breakfast has local specialties, and there are free parking spaces for self-driving. First choice for travel to Shanghai, immersive feeling of the ancient city, very cost-effective!"

"Our stay this time was incredibly comfortable and peaceful. The lobby is beautifully and tastefully decorated, and parking was very convenient. Our room was clean and tidy, the mattress was just the right firmness, and the pillows were comfortable, ensuring we slept soundly until morning. The young lady at the front desk spoke softly and thoughtfully, and seeing we had a child with us, she kindly gave us two extra bottles of water and a pair of small slippers. The soy milk and fried dough sticks at breakfast were absolutely delicious and hit the spot, and our child enjoyed them too. There's a supermarket and restaurants downstairs, so you don't have to go far for anything you need. Upon check-out, they even gave us a small gift 🎁. We'll definitely choose this place again when we bring my parents next time. Very satisfied!"

"My first time visiting Handan, a city that has kept its name for three thousand years, known as the Capital of Idioms and the Home of Tai Chi. Whenever I visit a new place, I always do some research beforehand. I chose this hotel because it's located in the city center, right next to Congtai Park, and close to the Handan Dao Historical and Cultural District. Getting around was super convenient; you could access the park directly from the hotel's side entrance. The hotel rooms were quite new, spacious, bright, and comfortable. The breakfast also offered a good variety. Overall, I had a very pleasant experience."

"The stay was absolutely perfect. The butler, Ms. Jiaxin, provided excellent service. She contacted me in advance before arrival and arranged a satisfactory room, upgrading me to one with a bathtub. The complimentary welcome fruit was of particularly high quality. The grounds were beautiful, with thoughtful design and stunning night views featuring many illuminated displays with Chinese idioms. It was perfect for taking great photos. Most importantly, the hotel offers free parking. I will definitely choose Handan Kaiyuan Mingdu Hotel again next time I visit Handan."

"The room was fine, no complaints about that. However, they give us very little toilet paper, and we always have to ask for more. There's no one who speaks English at the reception desk at any time. As with many other hotels in China, the reservation ticket scrambles our long and confusing western names in ways that are undecipherable to most Chinese, and that always creates some tension at the check-in, because the name in the booking form doesn't match EXACTLY the name on the passport. This is a recurrent problem in China, and it happens everywhere, creating delays and embarrassment. The hotel location is fine, as it is just two blocks away from a large shopping mall, the "Miller City". It's overall a good experience, and I'd certainly stay there again."
