"Lovely hotel, amazing food - very aesthetically pleasing and lots of choice. The staff - amazing, so polite and really go out of your way. Chokri took care of us and greeted us and is great help! Tip the staff early on and your experience will be even better! Only thing that is a bit of a let down is the night entertainment could be better - they need to invest in an animation team and proper theatrical space for great evening entertainment.. is usually just a dancer or singer for small amount of time."

"Virtually on the beach but not much in way of shopping nearby. Atmosphere very low key probably due to start of season, hotel & staff are fantastic especially Mohammed in restaurant used for half board residents. Rooms spacious & well maintained by cleaners. Very quiet no noise level at night. Mainly French, German& Italian. Sadly will not be returning to Tunisia but recommend this hotel based on the staff."

"It was in no way a conventional 5* hotel, it's a "tunisian 5* hotel", the stuff are 50/50, communicating with you only if you're either tunisian or giving them money, the room is big and empty, usually badly maintained, beds are very rigid and only single without even the possibility of transforming into a twin bed, the food is very basic with a minimal choice and slow serving creating lines of waiting people, outside the dining hours there is basically nothing to eat, the pools're not heated, with sand (bad cleaning), working from 10 to 18 "officially", unsupervised children everywhere, the booz is either too diluted or too concentrated, depend on your luck with the bar, there is no fresh juices or a variety of non alcoholic drinks, tea and coffee are undrinkable. The is no medical help, and they dont even help you with organising it (thank god we had a good insurance). The hotel imposes on you a ton of rules upon arrival, but none of theme are respected later on buy anyone. If you have to travel to Tunisia and want to fell kinda 5*, then maybe it's your choice, otherwise i dont recommend neither the country nor this hotel."

"I booked this holiday nearly a year ago.... we wanted somewhere different, not a common brit holiday destination.... the closer it got, the more I worried though.... almost paid extra to change destination and go somewhere more well known.... I am so, so pleased I didn't! What a lovely hotel and area. We arrived at night.... about 8.30pm... went to check in, but immediately we were given our all inclusive bands, luggage stored safely and told to go and get dinner, and check in after (as dinner service stopped at 9pm).... we were shown to a table, everyone was so pleasant, greeting us. The hotel itself is clean and spacious, with good facilities (lovely outdoor pool, indoor pool and spa area, tennis court, private area of beach, 24 hour bar inside serving alcohol, non alcoholic, tea, coffee, bottled water etc. Bars also poolside and at the beach. Excursions can be booked at the hotel. All well run and reasonably priced. The quad biking was great fun! We were out from 8am, and arrived back to the hotel around midday. €80 each. There is a shop inside the hotel run by a lovely man, Bilel . Nothing is too much trouble and there is no pressure to buy anything. He's just happy to chat! Same can be said for the hotel photographer, Na'eem (sorry if not spelt correctly)! Chatted to us daily, always asked how we slept, if we had a good day etc. We ended our stay asking for a photo shoot with him, around the hotel, and on the beach.... 150 digital images, and all of them are beautiful! Wasn't expensive either. The entertainment team are all lovely too, and not pushy. May ask if you want to do an activity (archery, darts, aqua aerobics etc) but take no for an answer and move on.... some will sit and just chat, if youre happy for them to (they do ask first). A special thank you to Marcelo who was a pleasure to meet! I wish him the best for his studies! I had a lovely massage and facial in the spa (cost be £60 for both!). The restaurant and bar staff are great... very attentive.... and not just because of tips... we did tip, but after we had great service, the service did get even better after we tipped (Omar reserved us a table and brought drinks to the table etc) but the service of everyone was exemplary.... every person we came into contact with, wanted to ensure we were happy and having a good time. The food was the best I've experienced from an all inclusive.... even had fillet steak on Saturday night! The location of the hotel is great too... pay a little extra for a sea view - its definitely worth it! Outside the hotel there are shops along the sea front, and around the back... including Yasmine Hammamet Medina. Yes, a lot of the shop workers approach to ask you to look in their shop, but you just say "no thank you" and keep walking. All in all, we will definitely book to go back to Medina Solaria and Thalasso hotel. Its been a lovely stay, and just what we needed."

"I am staying at a hotel nearby. Their Spa is being renovated and I read about this hotel on Google reviews. I emailed them on Tuesday and Mohamed, the Spa manager emailed me back within the hour offering me an appointment for the Silver package I had read about for 350 TND for the following day. It was just fantastic. It included a 60 min massage, 30 min Hammam, 30 min jacuzzi bath with hot sea water and rose water and a 20 min face massage. Slippers, robe, relaxation area with lots of tisana (herb tea), bottles of water. A large warm indoor seawater pool with hydrojets. I was there for 4 hours. The staff were all so lovely and friendly and good at their job even though it is Ramadan. I saw a poster at Reception for another excellent package - 275 TND for breakfast, lunch, use of pool, 40 min massage, 30 min facial, and use of a suite room all day. There was a 50 TND single supplement but still a wonderful experience for the price. There was a lovely helpful lady on reception called Ghada who got staff to take me to meals (2 different restaurants - the hotel is like a huge palace - art work and marble everywhere). She also took me to my room. Again, Mohamed had everything perfectly organised in the Spa and was kind enough to change the facial until after lunch. Restaurant staff was excellent too, as was the food. One young waiter (with a long Turkish name) went out of his way to make me a "caffe latte" (I found the cappuccino from the machine a bit too sweet). The rooms are luxurious with extremely comfortable beds. Everywhere was quiet because it is low season which was perfect for me. This is a uniquely exquisite hotel with a fabulous Spa and wonderful staff who provide outstanding service. I am very grateful to have experienced being here."

"Overall, the hotel offered a decent stay. The room and common areas were clean, and the location was convenient for getting around the city. Service was average, staff were polite but not especially attentive or responsive. The biggest downside was the amenities, which felt limited and below expectations for the price. Good option for a short stay if location matters more than comfort or extra facilities."
