"The location is fantastic, right outside Hakodate Station, and you can spot the hotel sign immediately. There's a specialty supermarket and a pharmacy on the first floor. For dining, the seafood market is just behind the hotel, and the Mashu Maru ship is a mere five-minute walk away."

"Location: The hotel is conveniently located near Hakodate Station, making it easy to access JR trains and buses. Service: Breakfast was decent with a good variety of options. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was a huge disappointment! If you don't smoke or can't stand the smell of smoke, be absolutely sure not to book a smoking room. During the cherry blossom season, this was the last room available, and I didn't check carefully, ending up in a smoking room. The room reeked of stale cigarette smoke, and the ventilation system was useless, making it smell even worse, especially in the bathroom. My hair and coat were permeated with the smoky smell. There was an extra sheet under the duvet. I didn't notice it the first night, but when I pulled it back the next morning, I saw many stains on the duvet cover. Truly subpar... Facilities: The room was very small; I could only open my suitcase by the door. The bathroom had no outlets, so I had to plug the hairdryer into an outlet in the main room. No drinking water was provided in the room; I had to go all the way down to the South Wing to get water, which is a very inconvenient design."

"This hotel offers excellent convenience as it is located just a short walk from JR Hakodate Station. The surrounding area is packed with fantastic local restaurants and sightseeing spots. The room itself was spotless and clean, though definitely on the smaller side. Keep in mind that the staff has limited English skills, but they still try to be helpful."
