"The rooms were very nice and clean. There's a very large parking lot with plenty of spaces, and parking is free. It's very convenient for people with cars. There's a P+R train station about 3 kilometers from the hotel, making it easy to take the train to Amsterdam. Parking is also free, which is fantastic! Staying here and taking the train to Amsterdam is an excellent choice."

"Checking in could not be simpler but to do it you need to find a member of staff in the bar. The hotel is above a busy bar but noise from this is not too bad. It is in the bar that a decent breakfast is served although the coffee is really strong. I stayed in a single room which although small was workable. First impression generally was favourable as it was clean and only later did I notice the bird dropping on the inside of the window. Bed gave a good nights sleep so no problems there. You need to be careful with the shower as the hot water gets very hot very quickly so could get scalded if not careful. The only safe way I found to use the shower was to turn the cold tap on first and then slowly introduce hot water. I was there for a week and its location is ideal for exploring Haarlem and for taking day trips. It is an easy walk to the station and you pass two big supermarkets on the way for collecting supplies. Seems popular with locals given the number of Dutch people staying there. Cannot fault the staff as they are friendly and when your room gets serviced - which occasionally gets missed you always get fresh towels."
