"Hôtel Château Rose was one of the most memorable stays of our trip through France. With only 18 rooms and suites, the hotel feels intimate and personal rather than resort-like. The views across the Gulf of Saint-Tropez are beautiful, and the entire property is filled with expressive art, sculptures and unexpected design details. Even the extraordinary mosaic swimming pool feels like a work of art. The greatest strength, however, is the team. From the moment we arrived, everyone welcomed us with genuine warmth. Requests were handled with care, preferences were remembered, and the service felt attentive without becoming formal. We were upgraded to a spacious, light-filled room with a large balcony and views towards Saint-Tropez and Port Grimaud. The view could be enjoyed directly from the bed, the room was calm and comfortable, and the pillows were outstanding. The Lavazza coffee in the room was also much better than the usual hotel coffee experience. Breakfast was excellent. The selection was thoughtful, the fried eggs were possibly the best we had in France, and both regular coffee and iced coffee were prepared exactly as requested. The rooftop is another highlight. The sunset view is spectacular, and the combination of art, colour, music and open sky creates a glamorous but relaxed atmosphere. The hotel is not adults-only, but during our stay we saw only two children, and neither affected the atmosphere. It came remarkably close to delivering the calm, grown-up environment we look for. One small issue: on Sunday after lunch, the pool became busy enough that resident guests could not find a place for approximately an hour. We believe hotel guests should have protected access to loungers during busy summer weekends. That did not change our overall impression. Château Rose combines beauty, calm and genuine human warmth, and we would very happily return."

"Very practical accommodation, well appointed and very well located. There were five of us, we all left satisfied. The large terrace is really a plus! The only downside is that the beds are a little hard but otherwise everything is perfect for us!"

"After visiting several Sowell resorts (Camargue, Ardèche, Saint-Gervais-les-Bains), I thought I knew the recipe. But here… they must have forgotten a few ingredients. Oddly enough, they offer free entry for children up to 11 years old… haha, hilarious! It reminds me of those ads where you're the product when it's free. A great social experience for parents who also want a break: no entertainment, no games room, no relaxation area. The only "chill corner" is the bar, which barely fits in a student studio apartment where you have to share two sofas with the enthusiastic newcomers. As for food, prepare yourself for the unique experience of the participatory buffet: in the evening, you have to queue for at least 30 minutes to get your food ration, under the watchful eye of a woman who guards the entrances like a national treasure. If you have young children, well… what, get them to do yoga. The tables are packed so tightly you can really feel the price per square meter in Saint-Tropez. And then, the highlight of the show: the bottled water! Yes, this 4-star hotel will give you the thrill of negotiating to get… two small 50cl bottles. After that, you can earn a master's degree in negotiation. The "all-inclusive" of Port Grimaud. 😅"

"Passing through Grimaud, we were looking for a hotel and found this one. The room overlooked the garden with a view of a dead palm tree. The room smelled damp. It was impractical, with few electrical outlets. The bathtub was cracked and had been repaired—we wonder how. There were cobwebs. Absolutely avoid this place!"

"Vi har virkelig tilbragt fem smukke dage i dette hus, placeret et par minutter over den smukke by Grimaud.. Baleine værelse, (vi tror den smukkeste) dominerer underliggende pool. Godt måling og med stort badeværelse vindue. Bet og bekvemme kugler. Frigobar til stede. Diskrete badeværelse svampe, men frem for alt ikke engang de to små hånd, aldrig ændret på fem dage. Kort papir ændret til andre dage. Omgivelserne omkring boligen er virkelig fantastisk. Lysende vegetation, der er mellem paprika og roser om bord pool, med høje tørvplanter og eksotiske fedtplanter af alle arter. En smuk statue af Buddha dominerer den smukke svømmebassin. En sådan grøn omgivelse kræver bestemt meget stor opmærksomhed og pleje. Søvn, paraply og soveværelser omgivet af poolkanten og indgangen til hvert værelse. Frugt serveret på det smukke bord uden for værelset har været godt, men kan forbedres. Brød er ikke altid helt frisk. Marie og Jacques , har vist sig to værdifulde husmænd, der er til stede på en måde for dem til hver rådgivning og behov. Parkering med flere maskiner , især hvis de er store, kræver lidt tålmodighed og opmærksomhed. Den provinsvej tæt på den smukke bolig, kan reservere arter på helligdage lidt uro. Nætterne har vist sig mere end stille. virkelig godt priskvalitet forhold. Promoted og anbefalet."
