"After staying in several hotels during our road trip through Iceland, we were overjoyed in our stay here. We felt at home in this cozy guest house, not only because of the decor of the rooms, but also because of the friendliness of the owner. He was eager to help us in whatever needed, gave us useful information about the area and was in general always looking out for us. The rooms were nice, clean, warm and with really comfortable beds. There’s a main common room with sofas and tables where there’s a kettle and a coffe maker, so there’s always a possibility of having a warm coffe or tea, with beautiful views to the sea. We would’ve loved to spend more time there, we cannot recommend it enough!"

"Lovely place, the apartmemt 2 bedrooms is great. The room are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen has everything we needed. The dining area and living room is quite large. Wifi is very fast. The view in front of apartment is awesome. The location is 5 km from Akureyi city center. Recommend for all kind of customers."

"Ok, listed as Hotel and it is not a hotel. More an Airbnb. I rated Good/Ok. If you are on a tight budget this place is OK. We stayed for the 2 bedrooms so we each had some privacy. Arrived to a pillow missing a pillow case and the pillow with sweat marks from previous use, gross. Beds really hard, my guess, old mattresses, felt like a box sping. Couple of holes in the mattress cover. Door to large bedroom hits the bed upon opening. Seems they should rearrange the space. Hot water smells bad, can hear the upstairs unit flush. No kleenex, but all the other stuff if you are eating in. Hole in wall in hallway. Seems the owner is almost there to earn one more star. Dad manages it for son..so he told us. Most comfortable stay for us, NO. Looking to save dollars and can ignore the details, this is your place."
