"Location was within 20 minutes walking to the old town and just 2 minutes on feet to the Grazer Messe (Fair of Graz) facilities. Breakfast was of broad selection and good quality, Tobias satisfied all our wishes in the restaurant. All other staff members (receptionist and cleaning staff) were polite and very helpful. Though the hotel is on a road with tram traffic, noise isolation worked pretty well and we had silent nights. We could easily find parking on the other side of the road, which was luckily free during the weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel if visited Graz next time again."

"We stayed at this hotel for nine nights. The room for three people was very large and divided into two rooms. A refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine, and even a small kitchen with a microwave were available. There was also a lovely garden patio. The only slight drawback was the water pressure in the shower. The breakfast buffet was very good, and the ladies in the breakfast room were constantly clearing tables and making sure everything looked perfect. Since the underground parking garage cost extra, there were very few cars there. There was also direct access to the garage from the rear apartments. A laundry room with a washer and dryer is also available in the garage. The swimming pool and sauna were also very good. The location in Graz Strassgang was ideal for us. You can quickly get to the highway or the city center. There's also a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Despite this, the hotel is very quiet. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return."

Grand Hotel Wiesler
"My stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment. The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast. I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria! The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz."
