"We used the travellers inn as we wanted to see the grisdale tarn and we needed to a room to stay after the sight. They allowed us to store our luggage at the inn as our check in was at 3pm. The rooms were clean and it overlooked a farm area with lots of sheep. The room had an aesthetic look and there was tea satchets we could have as well. The staff were kind and wonderful. The rooms had the britain charm you see in old english movies. If you love sheeps, kind people, good food and 80's british aesthetics- then this place is just for you. We loved our stay here."

"Absolutely love it here. It’s such a good location for loads of walks, swims or just relaxing. The staff are friendly. It’s clean. There’s lots of facilities. They’re obviously improving things too with more storage for self catering. We stayed a night camping and a night in the dorm room. Ideal location for a walk up to easedale tarn or into abide via rydal. Of course will be back again very soon."

"Stor hotel med en anstændig beliggenhed midt i sødistriktet.Du kan gå/cykle til Ambleside, der er fem kilometer væk.Lave fald er let at gå for store udsigter over området omkring. Hotellet er mere som et privat hus med værelser.Vi har en lille suite med soveværelse, badeværelse og stue.Vi kunne bare se søen fra stuen. Badeværelset har kun et badeværelse og ingen bruser hoved, der var en vanskelighed at vaske hår.Bortset fra, at det var meget velorganiseret. Breakfast var på en nærliggende pub.Den gode sport.Det var et begrænset udvalg på menuen: fuld engelsk, morgenmadsruller, brød eller porridge.Du fik også 10% til middag i pubben."

"This hotel in the Lake District is absolutely excellent. It boasts a beautiful setting and is conveniently located within walking distance of the famous poet's former residence. Parking was easy and convenient. The town itself is very peaceful, with a lovely small river flowing through it. The breakfast was also fantastic; all hot items were freshly cooked to order. Our room was spotless."

"Havde en dejlig ophold vi var i værelse1 smuk værelse Kingsize seng med dejlig balkon, stort badeværelse med badeværelse og bruser, meget komfortabel havde alt, hvad vi havde brug for vores ophold, balkonen var en bonus vi sad ud og havde vores morgenkaffe selv i oktober. Morgenmaden var smuk, da vi er personalet, kun kritik var morgenmadstid 8am til 9am vi følte, at den burde udvides til 9.30 10am dette ikke satte os ud af, vi ville elske at blive igen og ville anbefale."
