"We had our wedding at this beautiful Jacobian Manor House! The gardens are stunning and well kept and the decor and furnishings of the indoor property are just so beautifully done and well restored to be in keeping with the age of the house. We hired the rooms the night before my wedding for my bridal party. Each room was beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The hosts and owners of the property. Leo and Amy along with their day of wedding coordinator Lesley were nothing short of amazing and accommodated our every need at a reasonable price and to a high standard. They were both so intrapersonal and really took the stress out of everything. I recommend hire of this property for anybody who wants an elegant, smaller wedding. "

"We stayed at Travelodge Grantham South Witham for one night while travelling between places. I’ve stayed at Travelodges before, and this was one of the worst- and I’m not even talking about it being old and dated. The room was filthy. The bathroom was dirty, with black mould streaming from the shower when you turned it on, so I had to wait for it to clear. There was no soap in the dispenser by the sink. The toilet had yellow stains under the seat. The bedding looked fresh but had stains on it, which was disgusting. I know it’s a budget stay, but I’d still expect the room to be clean. There was also no hairdryer in the room, which you’d think would be a near-minimum nowadays. One word: disgusting. Stay somewhere else if you can."

"The receptionist Ruth was very helpful. It’s always nice to be greeted with a smile when you are away from home. The food was of a great quality on the brewers fayre next door. Will definitely return"

Angel and Royal Hotel ★★★

"The room smelled strongly. Check-in was very late: 4 PM, and check-out was required to be early, between 6 and 11 PM. The service was average. Many charging ports were out of charge. It was very noisy outside until after 10 PM, showing no regard for the customer's feelings. Not a recommended stay."

"Vi måtte vente på at tjekke ind, da der var mange mennesker der ville til en ****** mysterium begivenhed. Værelset var rent, men vi var lige over køkkenet, så de begyndte tidligt til morgenmad vi var vågne op med fans.Vi havde kun morgenmad, men det var ikke værd prisen, de opkræver, begrænset mad og koldt, så næste gang vi stopper, vil vi ikke være have morgenmad.Det er i en stor beliggenhed for os, da vores søn er i RAF og bor i Grantham, så kun den næste sammenslutning væk.Bonusen for os er, at de tager hunde."

"We stayed just one night at this really nice and conveniently located guest house in the town centre, and it was a great experience! My friend and I shared a spacious twin room, which was tastefully decorated and featured a large bathroom. The room had one double and one single bed—both extremely comfortable, with a lovely selection of cushions. We slept very well, with no noise at all from outside. The room was generously sized and had everything you could need—good quality coffee, tea, biscuits, toiletries, and more. It felt like a lot of thought had gone into the details. Please note: breakfast is not served on-site, but I highly recommend booking breakfast at the nearby Angel and Royal Hotel—it’s honestly the best breakfast in Grantham and the surrounding area. You really don’t want to miss that experience if you’re staying in town! I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!"
