"This place is grotty. The outside is not maintained at all. The room I had was clean, but I was with colleagues and their rooms were dirty. Wifi didn’t work. Rang to ask about it. No help. Seedy place, noisy with FIFOs, just awful. We asked to be moved by our employer as the place was not good enough for two week stay. Definitely not a family place if you’re travelling. Really run down. Came out to go to work each day to empty beer bottles, cigarette butts and jumble of chairs outside my door."

"I have stayed here a couple of times and overall it's a nice place to stay. I was just a little bit disappointed with my second time stay when I had to call the mobile number to get the access code to get in. Nobody answered and I left a voice message and also a text message. I waited for around 15 minutes making a few more calls to the same number during this time before someone finally got back to me. I'm a frequent traveller and I always get a text message with the access code from those hotels which use such systems. I hope that this is taken in good faith to improve this process making it easier for guests."

"We stayed at the Queens as a quick stop over travelling back to the Gold Coast. We were super impressed by the rooms. So clean and the bed was super comfortable. We had a meal in the Hotel dining area and the staff were so friendly and attentive. My hubby wanted to check out the new sports bar and it was so luxurious and beautiful in there with big screens and sports. There is a golf simulator in there but no time to play unfortunately. Great stay thank you!"
