"I stayed at the Hilltop Carana after being in La Digue for a couple of days. The hotel is located, like the name states on a hilltop with a beautiful view of the oceanside. The hotel itself is a little outdated. My room was a fairly spacious but it could definitely use an update. What the hotel lacks is redeemed by the fantastic staff. Matthew handles the daily affairs of the hotel does a great job coordinating travel and tours. Rajah is a great chef, driver, housekeeper and very kind and accommodating. I looked forward to his breakfast and dinner. Ramas was also wonderful and made sure the hotel was clean. All the gentlemen wear many hats and do a fantastic job keeping the hotel in order. I truly enjoyed my stay here."

"As it was our first time in the Seychelles, I was hesitant to book a bed&breakfast place for us but I decided to listen to the positive reviews - I am glad I did! The room is spacious and feels like home. It's spotless clean and has all one'd need for a no frills stay. What takes the experience to the next level is the view out of the balcony! one would be willing to hike for 2 hours to get to an outlook with the same view as you would get by simply stepping out side into the balcony! it's amazing! You will get a homy breakfast served to you on that same balcony with the that epic view, too! I strongly recommend this place. The owners' dedication to high standards of hospitality is truly impressive! Note: Rent a car! srsly! Don't take a taxi there. it's on top of a hill (that's how you get the epic view). The roads to the place it so steep even the car might struggle to go up the hill at points. You'd need a car to explore the area, go to the beach or restaurants anywhere. Also a note to the owner if they see this, I have an amazing drone footage of your property - happy to share it with you for your marketing purposes. I can only post pictures here."

"Spent 2 days at Le Bonhuer Villa before our cruise. A small hotel, but like staying with family. Marylene made us feel at home with advice on where to visit, and even drove us to town on one occasion. She made recommendations for how to use the local bus to get around, and even loaned ac bus card that we charged up to pay for fares. Food is very good and we didn’t bother to try eating anywhere else."

"We were greeted from above by Alam who told us to leave the luggage and climb aboard. After the taxi ascent to what seems like an impossible summit the taxi driver left us to the rescue of our attentive host Alam who proceeded to haul our cases like a Himalayan Sherpa. He made our room ready even though we were very early and let us get showered and pool ready. During our breakfast which was wonderful we met Michele who engaged us with his interesting conversation. Unbeknown to us he had found out it was our anniversary and arranged for us to have a fantastic lunch and special table set up with flowers and sparkling wine . Amazing thanks and warm appreciation for everything and a memorable occasion was really enjoyed by us both ❤️"
