"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which has a lovely boutique feel throughout. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, making the whole experience feel very personal. I was travelling with someone who has multiple allergies, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, which we really appreciated. The service felt genuinely attentive and thoughtful. The food was excellent, and the breakfast in particular was a highlight, with plenty of fresh fruit and a variety of hot options that changed daily. The lounge area was spacious and relaxing and perfect for unwinding. Our room was very clean, generously sized, and well-maintained, with bottled water provided every day. The beds were extremely comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The hotel is in a good location and we felt very safe throughout our stay. "We stayed here 2 nights, and then another separate night on return from upcountry My wife has only limited vision and needs as much light in the bedroom as possible. On our first visit they were kind enough to use plastic rods to prop the shutters open and let more light in. On our second visit, the receptionist refused either to prop the shutters open (supposedly security) nor would he give us another room where we could get more light (claimed they were full and nothing was available(. With that he spun round and walked away I contacted our tour operator, and guess what, a room suddenly became available, we moved rooms, and the new room was full of sunlight I have written hundreds of reviews on Tripadvisor, and I do not think I have ever named and shamed an individual employee before. But his name was TRAVIS and he should either be found a job away from the reception desk, and given a months training in how to deal with customers. I would not stay again at this hotel when they have someone as rude and unhelpful as Travis behind the desk I spoke to others about him, and he has a reputation for rudeness I would also add as others have done that the breakfast is somewhat below basic in quality and quantity"

Kanuku Suites

"The Kanuku Suites provides limited service accommodations for mostly work related guests. I stayed here for the better part of a week. I personally found the amenities and services on the website misleading. Employees are helpful and kind but require more hospitality training. The Angel Restaurant looks like a "Bottom House" restaurant and requires serious upgrading in every department. The complimentary breakfast is pathetic. I also get the feeling there is a master servant relationship between owner and staff. Is there enough value for the price of the room. Unequivocally No. Would I come back here. Not likely. "
