"We stayed at Whales Way twice on our trip - once in December and then on our way home. What a lovely place to stop over at. Benji and Annie (and Benji's father) go out of their way to make the stay very pleasant. The first room was the garden room at the back - nice garden view the road noise from the N2 was not too bad. The TV is not worth watching and wifi was a little weak at times. The stay in the loft room made up for the garden room stay. What an amazing view over the sea. Breakfast was amazing. Benji and his father together made it happen and it was delicious. All in all, a great overnight B&B or even if you are staying in Wilderness for a few days. Recommended."

Det, der blev udeladt straks, var balancen mellem sofistikering og komfort. Restaurantens menu er tilstrækkelig raffineret til rejsende, der værdsætter kvalitetsmad og tankevækkende præsentation, men stadig nærme sig en afslappet og sjov middag oplevelse. De oversigtsmæssige udsigter fra restauranten er simpelthen begejstrede og løfter hele spise atmosfæren. Som rejsende, der værdsætter kunst, design, komfort og ægte lokal karakter over generisk luksus, blev vi tilfredsstillende overrasket over de kurerede kunstudstillinger i hele ejendommen og især nydt at lære om deres forbindelse med Wilderness Art. Association.Værelserne er smukt designet med en layout, der føler sig både stilfuld og praktisk, suppleret med højdeudstyr og tankevækkende finish toucher, der gør opholdet føler sig besværligt. Spa var en uventet ekstra bonus og fuldført erfaringen perfekt.Højt anbefalet for rejsende, der værdsætter understatslig luksus, god mad, kunst, skønhed og en rolig, poleret atmosfære i stedet for overfyldte kommercielle resorter."

From the friendly front of house team, May, Danielle and Elie to name a few, to the discreet and courteous housekeepers, our time at Fancourt was truly memorable. Nothing was too much trouble, and numerous delightful touches like complimentary transfers from the airport, canapés and afternoon tea in the lounge area and a welcome message and wine upon our arrival, all elevate the Fancourt experience. Add to this a stunning location, a beautiful secure estate, world class golf, excellent restaurants and it’s difficult to describe it other than perfect. The spa is undergoing renovations, so difficult to comment on this, although I suspect it will be similarly impressive when completed. Highly recommended, an amazing hotel, and we will definitely be returning in the future!"

"First time here and can say very memorable stay, easy check in and enjoyed the Oyster room with super sea view etc, also the service superb and breakfasts delicious and ready per pre ordered, nice ambiance plenty space with touch of old fashioned appeal. only minor issue was sunbeds not to user friendly bit dated as wooden but could get a topper but would change and upgrade to more modern ones..staff very friendly and helpful, plan to return again..thanks to Tim and staff."
