"This is my third stay at this hotel, and while I don't necessarily leave negative reviews, I prefer to leave positive ones when the hotel deserves it. I must say that I am very happy with my stay and will return regularly. The welcome is friendly and attentive. The pros: - The quiet location, free parking, proximity to Lyon airport, and a few places to eat - The clean and comfortable rooms (great bedding, I should mention!), the thoughtful touches (shower products, soaps, tea, coffee, sweets, tissues, etc.) - The cleanliness, both in the bathroom and the room. An effort has been made in this area since my last stay a year ago. - Electric shutters Cons: - Neighbors who aren't always aware that their antics can be heard through the ventilation :) - A persistent smell of cigarettes in the lobby (but not in the rooms)... even though, oddly enough, the place isn't smoke-free This Kyriad hotel offers excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it."

"Review from my 13 years old daughter :) Enjoy it. We came to this hotel thinking it was going to be an amazing experience, but sadly it was the complete opposite. At first it seemed okay, although the first impression it gave us was that it was far too new to be good. Unfortunately, we were right. Exhausted, we stumbled into our rooms, ready to sleep. But the moment we opened the bed sheets, we were horrified. They were covered in hair. It honestly looked like dogs had been sleeping on the bed and the sheets hadn't been washed for weeks. We hoped the other room would be better, but it was just as bad. There were multiple stains all over the bed, and it made us feel absolutely disgusted. We went straight back to reception and asked to change our rooms. To our surprise, instead of apologizing, they completely denied what we were seeing. They kept insisting that the sheets were clean, even though they clearly weren't. It was unbelievable. Eventually, after arguing with them, we were finally given different rooms. Thankfully, they weren't as bad as the first ones, so we were finally able to get some sleep. The next morning, we still had a lot to do, but we decided to do the right thing and speak to reception again. We asked if they could offer us one free night to make up for such an awful experience. The receptionist seemed completely shocked and had to call the manager. This is where the experience became even worse. Instead of trying to solve the situation professionally, the manager spoke to us aggressively and immediately refused. Rather than taking responsibility for the disgusting condition of the rooms, they simply offered us free access to the pool, as if that could somehow make up for sleeping in filthy beds and the way we had been treated. By that point, we had completely lost our patience. We were tired of the poor cleanliness, tired of being told that what we clearly saw wasn't real, and tired of the rude attitude from the staff and management. We had enough. We packed our things, left the hotel, and booked another one instead. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and we certainly will not be returning or recommending this hotel to anyone."

"Wow we absolutely loved it here. Media made us so welcome. We are travelling from the UK going to Nice. This was a really convenient stop over. This place is built for convenience. Right off the main road, good gym, the food was so good. We ate dinner in the restaurant it was such a high standard for a good price. The ‘Super Bowl’ was stunning, the coffee desert unreal. Breakfast was so good, omelette to order. We will definitely be back on our return to Calais. Cannot rate this place high enough. Media made it for us. The Batty’s x"
