Park Hotel Oasi ★★★★
"Currently staying at this hotel with a Leger coach holiday and it really is not great at all, definitely not a 4 star, more like 2. Food is truly awful, I can’t eat dinner as it’s just disgusting, I only have a dessert. Breakfast is always good with a wide choice but dinner is always awful. Leger are paid a fortune for our holidays and then put us in this shambles of a hotel, so run down and outdated, it’s a joke. Hotel is about a mile from lake, big hill to walk down and back up so not suitable for elderly or infirm. Honestly think Leger are rip off holiday company allowing us to stay in this hotel in this condition and feel sorry for the less able customers, at least I can get away from the hotel for most of the time. Coffee served in cafe at hotel is cold. The staff at this hotel are trying their hardest to give you a good holiday and service, very friendly and helpful, if it wasn’t for the lovely staff then I would not give this hotel 2 stars, they really are trying to save a sinking ship. Staff are what makes this hotel, the rest of it is terrible."
Sky Pool Hotel Sole Garda ★★★★
Hotel Palme & Suite ★★★
Hotel Remàt ★★★
"The restaurant are dismissive of any complaint about food. Not attentive. I have been sat here for 10 mins after they have taken away bad fish, dry bread and wine finished. Did I nention the plants past its best plant plonked on my table Despite a few glances my way. Not one waiter has come to me. Now it's 15 minutes. Finally waitress come and talked about it but said no one will believe it so post it"
Hotel Excelsior le Terrazze ★★★★
"Very nice comfortable and clean hotel. Lake view is magnificent. Nice breakfast. Good parking. Excellent position. Pool is not big but enough. Needs better pillows selection."
Hotel Astoria ★★★
"Only stayed for 3 nights and so glad we chose this hotel as it’s in a great location, right in the centre of Garda, clean and very comfortable, good air conditioning. Receptionist were very friendly and helpful if you needed them. Bus station was only 2 minute walk away. Went to Venice for the day, although it was a long trip I’d highly recommend going, 2 hours each way from Garda. Breakfast just managable but it won’t keep you going all day first place I’ve been and not had toast. What was there was nice though. We would stay here again."
Hotel Alla Torre ★★★
"Hotellets beliggenhed er perfekt, tæt på alt, herunder busstation, færgeterminal og restauranter.Også personalet Stefania og Sorin var fantastiske og hjælpsomme i at rådgive og løse ethvert problem under opholdet i Garda. Hotellets faciliteter er begrænset, da der ikke er vandkøleskab, jernbræt, toiletter og gym/svømmebassin.Men hvis du er klar over det på forhånd, så er det okay."
Villa Madrina Lovely and Dynamic Hotel ★★★★
"My family and I had a great stay at the Villa Madrina Hotel. The straff where so kind and accommodating, the hotel was beautiful and the location was just perfect with a 5min walk down to the city center/lake. Breakfast where also really lovely with a good and varied selection of food and really great coffee. Also a big plus that we could borrow bikes to explore the area. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel!"

Sporthotel Olimpo
"We spent two nights passing through Lake Garda and went to the Arena in Verona in the evening. Given the reviews, I was a bit skeptical, but we were pleasantly surprised. Our two rooms were obviously relatively recently renovated and fully met our expectations. Our teenagers were particularly impressed by the pool. Breakfast was also better than expected. Everything was there, even if the coffee wasn't great. For dinner, you can choose between three dishes for the starter and main course – it was really good."
Tobago
"We had booked two nights at the Tobago Hotel in Garda and arrived around 5pm on Friday. The receptionist explained some banal things that were actually all clear. What irritated us was that she insisted that we leave our suitcases at the reception. Someone needed the suitcases into the room. We had specified anti-allergic bed linen as a request when booking, this request was not canceled by the hotel and yet the receptionist explained to us upon arrival that there is no anti-allergic bed linen in this hotel. We drove the car all day and relied on the fact that our wish for anti-allergic bed linen would be fulfilled in this Tobago hotel, as is always the case in every hotel. If the hotel had informed us when making our reservation that anti-allergic bed linen was not possible, we would have canceled the room immediately. Strangely enough, the hotel also informed us by email that we should make a reservation for dinner at the hotel in good time. That was okay. First we went to dinner in Garda. We wanted to have a glass of wine in the restaurant and waited 20 minutes. Since no waiter came, I went to the bar. When asked, a waiter came to the table and handed out a drink menu, but then he didn't come back to take the order. After another 20 minutes of waiting, we went to the room and skipped the wine. In the room we noticed that the bed cover was dirty. And we also found a hair on the blanket. We suspect that the duvet was not changed and was simply left as it was by previous guests. This fits with the fact that there were flip-flops in the hotel room that were kept in a wellness bag and where it was obvious that one pair of the two pairs had already been used because they were dirty flip-flops. We have never experienced this anywhere. We will share pictures of this. Now we were completely without bed linen and had to sleep in thick clothes without a blanket. It was cold in the room at night, so we took the duvet, which caused an allergic reaction in my wife, which manifested itself in a cough and a rash. We spent the rest of the night sitting on the bed with our clothes on. We were excited about breakfast, which we had to tick on an extensive form upon arrival. There may be people who like to do that, but for us it was the level of a spa stay that the health insurance company pays for. We have never experienced this on the many trips we take on a regular basis. The breakfast staff reserved a table for us outside, when the outside temperature was around 12°, and actually thought that we would sit outside. We sat down at a table inside and were served in a not particularly friendly manner. De"
Hotel du Parc
"A pretty disappointing experience overall. The property is very old and very n urgent need of renovation and repairs. Eg. Hot tub outside doesn’t work, ac was out of order, etc. The pictures they use to advertise are not reflective of the current state of the property. The staff are not very friendly and border on rude. We had dinner there and I am pretty sure the dessert was spoiled."
Hotel Marco Polo
"Dirty and funktafied smell. Old and dated with no air-conditioning in our "Bungalow". After a few hours of rain the kids bedroom ceiling was like waterfall. Left 2 days early. Terrible! The pool we used hadn't been cleaned in a week but the ducks loved it."
Poiano Garda Resort Hotel
"Just back from a mini break at this wonderful resort. We had an apartment with breakfast and we were in block D- high up the hill. This gave fabulous views and total peace but the trek was tough for me. So I called on Fabio with his golf buggy a lot and cannot praise him enough for his help. He also introduced us to lalaterna restaurant just outside the resort gates. Do go and make sure you are really hungry. It is where the locals go to eat and portions are huge and delicious. The resort was clean and gardens beautiful. Breakfast was lovely but we were disappointed that to eat in the evening there was only a set price 3 course dinner. We had no issues with the free shuttle bus into town and all staff were cheerful and helpful. Loved it. Loved Fabio most of all. He is an asset to the resort."
Ca' Barbini Resort
"We stayed as a family group of 3 adults and one child (6). This hotel was everything we could’ve ever dreamed and more! The hotel itself and the grounds and stunning and beautifully maintained… the views are to die for and the staff are so accommodating, it was a an absolute dream to stay here. We spent time in the spa, around the pool and enjoyed an al fresco breakfast each morning. The shuttle into town is a very welcomed service the hotel provides. So easy and convenient! We also booked a wine tasting in the hotel’s own wine tasting, which was wonderful. Andrea was very knowledgeable and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed this experience and found the price very reasonable. Special thanks to Ilaria for help booking transfers and tours for us and always being so welcoming. Jada was also wonderful and Roberto and Claudia in the lounge and at breakfast, always so accommodating. Apologies for missing anyone, the staff here really are a credit to the hotel and make it extra special. I honestly couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, you can tell they pride themselves with perfection. It’s an exceptionally high standard and we can’t wait to visit again!"
Regina Adelaide Hotel & Spa
"Superb hotel, there is nothing that can be done to make this place better, it’s absolutely perfect. Beautiful pool, great pool bar and staff. Spacious rooms, with everything you need for your stay, immaculately clean. Breakfast is excellent and all the staff are very attentive. Cocktails in the American bar are a great way to end your evening. A little gem in the heart of Garda"
Hotel Terminus
"I have visited and stayed at many hotels around Lake Garda, but have to say, unfortunately, this was the worst and I would not recommend. I paid for the 'superior' room, for my son and myself because of the size. I dread to think what the other rooms were like. It was certainly a huge room, but felt empty, unwelcoming, very shabby and souless, it was also ant infested. Our outer door opened directly onto a terrace, which, although it had lovely views, was cracked and grubby, with lots of cigarette butts and with no privacy whatsoever.. Most of the other rooms, had little arched, covered spaces outside, but not our 'superior' one. You walked straight out into the public space and as it rained a lot we were unable to sit out, when it did, without getting wet through. Customer service was dreadful, no smiles or buongiorno's, you literally got stared at, the whole time, walking through, to the main door, which felt incredibly unnerving. The reception area was clean, but they mostly cleaned the floors during the day, while people were walking through and we were scolded in Italian, for walking on there, although there were no signs the floor was wet. The kettle in our room did not work, but after the third time of asking for a replacement and still not getting a working kettle, it felt too embarassing to ask again, as the staff seemed to find this a great inconvenience. They also took and kept our passports, until the day we left, which has never happened before. The hotels here, usually check, maybe take a photocopy and hand them back, straight away. Although it is very near the edge of the lake, a huge, very busy, public car park, is directly inbetween hotel and lake and is extremely noisy. Also, the edge of the lake i is near, it is not the accessible shoreline type, that you can walk down to..you need to walk quite a way to find any spot like this. I paid around £2,000 for a weeks stay there, for the two of us, early in the season and do not feel it was worth even half of that, and I comment as a very seasoned traveller, with good knowledge of pricings around the lake. Lake Garda, is probably my favourite place to visit and I am currently staying at an excellent hotel, in Malcesine, while writing this, where the difference between the two is night and day, in every way. I would not stay at the Terminus again, if it was free. It was a very unsettling and negative experience. The only visit to the Lake, ever, I wished I had not taken. I felt I needed another break, to recover from this one, after returning."
Hotel Eden Garda
"Nice family run hotel, within walking distance of town centre (shuttle bus is pretty handy too). Food was of good quality even if the dishes available were a wee bit limited. Rooms nice and clean and tidy, hotel overall was spotless. Bar was nice in evenings and reasonably inexpensive. Views from rooftop were great. We would return here."
Hotel San Marco
"Fabulous, traditional , family run hotel. Everyone friendly and helpful. Spotless everywhere and good air con. Lovely breakfast on the terrace and we loved the church bells every morning , it added to the charm of the place. Easy to get to the ferry and bus station to see different parts of the lake."
Hotel Dependance Silvestro
"Good location friendly staff"
Hotel Conca d'Oro
"All good! They also take care for our bikes. 👍"
Hotel Cortina
"Awful hotel, only the location is5/5. One man (owner?) is unpolite: he loves german turists but other are like second class turists. He yells which is not good customer service. There should be more english instructions in the hotel. If u need breakfast box be ready that he dont want to give u that. Rooms are oldish and one buf I saw there. If u go there keep your clothes inside luggage. Cleaners dosent come everyday and they dont want to do their job like chaching towels or vacuuming the floor. I paid over 800e for one week and should know this before that cleaners are just waiting your tip. Ps. If u dont want to be cleaner change your career. Its your problem"
Hotel Garden
"Alt om vores ferie var fantastisk, personalet er lige så venligt og hjælpsomt.Hotellet er smukt, vores værelse på forsiden af søen var perfekt.Hotellets beliggenhed er stor, tæt på alle faciliteter endnu så smuk og rolig. Det var vores tredje besøg, og vi har allerede booket for næste år, tak. "
Hotel Villa Anthea
"Garda is a beautiful town and Villa Anthea is a very well located family run hotel. Staff and owners go out of their way to make it a home from home, very helpful and always with a smile, big shout out to Radu and his sense of humour, he did make us laugh Room was a bit on the small side but who spends all day in the room, small balcony but able to fit two small chairs on. All areas very clean and nice toiletries and pool bags provided on request. QR code made easy request for snacks and drinks, served to you on the terraces if you wished. Fabulous breakfast, lots of choice, all freshly prepared, homemade cakes too and replenished quickly. Lovely relaxing outside areas to sit and chill and chat to other guests or enjoy the pool as you wish, not noisy and not too busy either to say hotel was fully booked, could always get a sunbed. Had a fabulous stay, would definately recommend Villa Anthea, ( but quietly as it is a hidden gem ) Thanks for help making our stay in Garda a very memorable time we definately be back. Diane & Andy"
