"This was my second stay at a Wanda property. Because hotel prices were much higher than usual at Wanda during Chinese New Year, I opted for the Sheraton instead, even though two nights still cost nearly 7,000 RMB. But to my surprise, I was disappointed in every aspect… Firstly, on February 16th, as soon as I entered the lobby, I saw guests arguing with hotel staff. I wasn't sure about the specific reason, but I already had a bad feeling. Secondly, February 16th was Chinese New Year's Eve. My family of three was watching the Spring Festival Gala in the room, and when we tried to pull down the shower curtain, it was broken. After reporting it, we found that even when the curtain was down, it was still see-through… I nearly fainted! This might be okay for couples, but if you're traveling with friends or family with kids, wouldn't that be incredibly awkward? Then, when we were ready to sleep that night, we discovered an issue with the toilet – there was a constant dripping sound, which was driving me crazy. It was Chinese New Year and the middle of the night, so I decided to deal with it the next day. I communicated with the hotel concierge in the morning but never heard back about a resolution. After breakfast, I had to speak to the front desk myself to get a room change… It was a huge hassle, moving from one end of the hotel to the other (a very long walk, dragging suitcases for 10 minutes, and taking two different elevators). The most ridiculous part was that this concierge, after we checked in, enthusiastically recommended various paid activities to us, and we even booked some through him… Ha! During Chinese New Year, I didn't want to ruin our trip or make things difficult for the staff who were still working. So, I tried to keep my negative emotions to myself. However, an old, established hotel, even if it's been open for a long time, isn't excused from all problems. Proper equipment maintenance and staff quality training are just basic operational necessities, aren't they? If they only think about making money from customers' pockets without any sincerity, how far can they really go?"

"The views are stunning, and the facilities are comprehensive. The amenities inside the room are top-notch; having underfloor heating made sleeping very comfortable at night. The surrounding natural environment is also superb, and breakfast was delicious. It's quite close to the West Scenic Area and also near the airport. It's arguably the best tourist spot in Changbai Mountain."

"The room was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was good. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the cable car and toboggan, and convenient for dining. The service was top-notch, and they provided plenty of bottled water in the room. Manager Qixi's concierge service was fantastic; he responded quickly to any issues. Check-in and check-out were smooth. The complimentary perks were also a lot of fun."

"Vi opholdt os 3 nætter på Holiday Inn Express Changbaishan under ***** New Year ferier og havde en behagelig oplevelse i almindelighed. Vores ophold var virkelig personalet.Da vi ikke taler kinesisk, betød deres bistand meget for os. Et medarbejder, Go(Amy) gik ovenpå og ud over ved at hjælpe os med at booke billetter til vinter rating & Changbai Mountain Scenic Area, anbefalede lokale retter til at prøve, og regelmæssigt checke ind for at se, om vi havde brug for nogen hjælp. Takket være hendes forslag prøvede vi ginseng kyllingesuppe, som var helt lækker.Hendes service og venlighed var usædvanlig 😍😍😍🙏🙏🙏 Selv om hotellet føler sig lidt forældet, er det godt vedligeholdt.Rummet var charmerende dekoreret med deres søde dukkemaskot.Dukkepigerne og matchende vest giver rummet en legelig vibe 🤭 Morgenmaden tilbød en god række valg, selv om smagen kunne forbedres. Generelt havde vi en god tid og ville anbefale dette hotel til enhver, der besøger Changbai Mountain-området."

The buffet dinner was a pleasant surprise, and the late check-out was a thoughtful touch since my flight was in the evening. The hygiene was impeccable. It's a shame the toilet wasn't smart (bidet-equipped). It's very close to Nanshan Ski Resort, which is good for beginners because it's not too crowded and the slopes aren't too big. However, the hotel has very few facilities for children."

In the evenings, the sky was filled with a spectacular sunset, perfect for a leisurely stroll around the property. It was such a relaxing and enjoyable getaway, especially for a family trip."

"For anyone visiting Xipo and looking to explore the local produce markets, I highly recommend this guesthouse. It's very close to Changbaishan West Station, but I personally think it's more suitable for those traveling by car, as Changbaishan itself is a mountainous area. First, let's talk about the location. Driving to Songjianghe Grand Market, the morning market, and the local produce market takes less than ten minutes. This time, I didn't hike Changbai Mountain, so I'm not sure how far it is to the West Slope, but it felt very convenient. It's also about a 30-minute drive to Fusong County and the Wanliang Ginseng Market. Now, for the environment. The rooms are ground-floor courtyards and small wooden cabins, very quiet and clean. Our room was right next to the linen room, and the staff kept it meticulously tidy. The common area in the courtyard is quite spacious, offering plenty of photo opportunities for those who enjoy taking pictures. The guesthouse also has a few friendly cats. Here's the crucial part! If you can wake up early, you absolutely must try their breakfast. It's included with your stay. Songjianghe is actually a small town, and apart from a few breakfast stalls, there aren't many substantial places to eat breakfast. The hotel's breakfast is freshly made, not pre-prepared, and features authentic Northeastern specialties."

It's very close to the Po-Xi Tourist Information Center, just a 5-minute walk, and there are many restaurants nearby. In short, it's an ideal place to stay for travelers."

"The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from Wanda Resort. We rented a car ourselves, so staying here felt very convenient. Compared to hotels within the resort, the facilities are much newer and the price is more affordable. We, two adults and two children, even received a complimentary breakfast. Additionally, we bought ski passes for 400 yuan. We rented ski equipment at Haidongqing, and there were very few people there, whereas the town service center was packed. Overall, we were very satisfied and recommend staying here. Just a heads-up about the water park: the admission is free, but you *must* rent a locker for 30 yuan per person."
