"Disappointment • Family The place is nice even if the sea is 18km away by car with a twisting road. Unfortunately I have to share our experience with regret. We had booked for 5 days but unfortunately on the first day of our stay my son was ill (fever, cough, sore throat) and I had to run and take him to the hospital in Rome to have him checked out. I thought the owner would understand and decide to charge only for the night or, understanding the situation, half the total price. Nothing, with total insensitivity and coldness, my wife was told that unfortunately we had to pay for everything because then I would have to clean (clean for one night?). I completely understand that for the god of money no one cares about anyone. But we are talking about a child who was not well and at least I expected more sensitivity. Absolutely not to be recommended, sometimes for a little money you lose out, I will not recommend it to anyone, in fact... good luck"

"Hotellet var i halvbjerget, fordi flyet var forsinket, så næste morgen kom.Der var ingen på hotellet, og vi sad på restaurantens balkon og ventede på dem.Den entusiastiske tjener kom for at give os en dejlig morgenmad, og tjenerne i den var meget entusiastiske. Efter at have boet ind, er balkonen i retning af Middelhavet, morgensolen og stranden stille og rolige."

"First of all, the host was most engaging and so helpful. We couldn't believe the efforts he been made to make our stay more enjoyable. Every one of his staff was equally helpful. And the menu choices were more than exceptional. The grounds are perfect and the rooms were lovely and clean. If I had to make one suggestion, it would be that the rooms on the lower level were somewhat far from the dining area. We had to climb over 70 steps to go from one to the other, but set that aside and you cannot help but enjoy this place."

"I really never write reviews, but for this I will make an exception. During checkout, there were suddenly different amounts on the bill. The boss told me that this is "normal" in their restaurant. I, of course, said something about this. Then he walked up to my girlfriend friend and threatened her. After this he slapped me. To avoid escalation I paid. Please choose another restaurant. Even though it looks so sweet. Appearances are deceptive! Amalfi and the surrounding area has countless great other restaurants that treat tourists fairly. The food was not good for the price. Of course, the whole experience brought that down heavily."

"Spent 10 Days at Hotel, took Half Board, Buffet Breakfast, evening meal, food was adequate & good, but keep to the Fish! Simple Room with sea view, very clean, air conditioner, Bathroom bit on the small side but overall good value for money At my age did not do much walking but lots of trails & views for those more active Location too small for Cruise Ships & Big Tour Boats which was fine by me, went on trip to Positano was amazed at number of people in such a small area. Also took trip to Capri, swimming off boat included, great trip Morning walk to "Piratana" for glass of wine & to take in the view"

"Hvor jeg endda begynder - et af de største hoteller finder jeg har lavet i 42 år af rejse til 66 lande.Unik, traditionel, ægte og utvivlsomt den bedste placering på hele Amalfi-kysten! Nogle af anmeldelserne siger, at værelserne skal opdateres.De er absolut ikke!Hvert værelse er klippet i en slags rock ansigt med fantastisk udsigt, en balkon eller terrasse og fantastisk møbler, både inde og ude. Badeværelserne har originale mosaiksten og er en anstændig størrelse.Men størstedelen af dette fund er utvivlsomt personalet. Vi var en gruppe af 16 venner, der fejrede en stor fødselsdag, og absolut intet var et problem. De gik over og over med service, mad og venlighed, faktisk følte vi, at vi forlod familien, da vi forlod. Hvilken uforglemmelig oplevelse vil jeg aldrig glemme.Tak for at gøre min fødselsdagsrejse så utroligt speciel og mindeværdig. "
