"When I arrived I had an issue and started feeling quiet unimpressed . However to my surprise a gentleman from reception went to the trouble to find me in the pool area and resolve the issue and that impressed me and we left feeling very good about our stay and the level of service. The hotel in some respects shows its age but was impressed with the service so would return"

"Fantastic seaview! Room was equipped with microwave, cutleries which we could prepare breakfast and dinner. Room was clean and spacious. 10 min drive to B shed ferry terminal to Rottnest Island and there was 10% discount at nearby eateries such as Twinfin fish and chips and Ciecerello Fremantle Seafood restaurant. Thumbs up!"

"Using Google map, we found the hotel easily. If there is an option for 4.5 star, I would have given that to Service as I find it weird for the need to obtain milk from the reception. None of the lodging we stayed required this. We always had milk in the fridge. It's facilities got a 4 star instead of a 5. The parking lot was full when we returned after dinner and had to park our car near the fencing of the hotel, which did not appear to be a parking lot."

"I stayed at the Wray for few nights. I had a beautiful comfy stay. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. The toilets were clean but they are shared. I went downstairs and watched the afl game. It was packed and the food was amazing. There’s some renovations about to happen for the toilets in the accommodation."

Bare for at minde alle om, at adressen på hotellet er #30, ikke #32.Jeg kæmpede for at tjekke på #32 om natten, indtil jeg fandt det faktisk var #30 på gaden. Frontens personale var venligt og kom med en sent udtjek. Værd pengene betalt."

"This hostel was home for me and for alot of people i know and love for a long time. Its messy, theres mould in the bathroom, never any plates or cutlery, no toilet paper because the owner refused to buy it for us. Said we were running out too quickly. But despite all this, the Manager Paddy and everyone there made this feel like home. We had a good time but recently with business becoming scarcer, as most backpackers have moved somewhere warmer, the hostel owner in an agitated attempt to improve his business has started to call police on guests, pulling people out of beds, throwing items of clothing in the free section because he thought their bed was messy. Screaming at guests, showing aggression and making people feel uncomfortable in their own home. Do not stay here, this rating is not a true reflection of the hostel. Any positives this hostel did have has gone, as the environment has gone from homey and friendly to uncomfortable and somewhere noone wants to live any longer. Theres also been alot of robberies recently and the owner did nothing about it. Terrible experience in the end"

"The hotel is old and has some character to it, and I took a punt as it was the cheapest in Fremantle. The staff were helpful and friendly. The shared bathrooms were kept clean. It’s well positioned for the train station, but is a bit out of the way compared to other accommodations in the city, and walking to and from the hotel felt a little sketchy at night as a lone traveler. Wasn’t too keen on the loud music coming up from the bar/ restaurant until midnight, nor the fact that to order a drink you had to be seated AND order food."

"The staff was excellent. She tried very hard to sort out the problem with the TV. Although it was about time for her to get off as well as it was the new year countdown night, she stayed until the very end. Didn't fix the problem, but we got complimentary breakfasts next morning. What a good beginning for 2024."
