"Hotel de Bretagne 7 Place de la République , Fougères, 35300, France Stayed one night on our way north Had not spotted the restrictive opening time of the reception – the communication with the hotel as we were delayed was a challenge The room was clean and comfortable however the public areas of the hotel was tired – NB there are no ground floor room and no lift Also the fire doors seem to be wedged open ! The largest disappointment was discovering only upon arrival that the Olympic flame was coming to town resulting in no parking near the hotel and a need to leave early (before the breakfast as not available till 09 00 ) to avoid being locked in the car park and un able to leave – the hotel had NOT informed us of the major disruption prior to our arrival On balance un likely to use the hotel again"
