"My stay at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Foshan Chancheng was a mixed experience. The room was spacious, modern, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment to relax after a long day. The hotel’s location was also convenient for getting around Foshan. However, the overall experience was affected by inconsistent service. While some staff members were courteous, communication could be challenging, and responses to guest requests were often slower than expected. The level of hospitality did not fully align with the standards one would anticipate from an international hotel brand. The breakfast was another area that could be improved. Although there was a reasonable selection of dishes, the variety was limited, especially for guests staying multiple nights. The quality was acceptable but not particularly memorable. The fitness facilities were basic and lacked sufficient equipment for a complete workout. Additionally, some common areas felt understaffed during busy periods. Pros: Spacious rooms, modern interiors, convenient location, good value for money. Cons: Average service, limited breakfast variety, basic gym facilities, inconsistent guest experience. Overall, Ramada Encore by Wyndham Foshan Chancheng offers comfortable accommodations and good room quality, but improvements in service standards and amenities would greatly enhance the overall guest experience."

"The room was spacious and quiet, and the kind lady at the front desk even upgraded our room type. Facilities: The main issue was that the Wi-Fi was incredibly unstable, and screen mirroring was very laggy. Another big problem was that screen mirroring wasn't linked to individual rooms; anyone could cast to any room in the hotel. This meant our TV kept getting interrupted by other people casting to our screen, which was very annoying. Also, I'm not sure if it was the mattress or the pillows, but they weren't very comfortable. My husband and I are usually sound sleepers, but we woke up multiple times every night. My husband never dreams, but he was dreaming every single night here. Didn't take any photos, so I'm using food pictures instead."

"I WILL NEVER STAY HERE AGAIN. I was a loyal customer, booking this hotel repeatedly for over a week until last night my experience was ruined by an absolutely incompetent, rude receptionist. I had ordered my takeaway, which is usually delivered by a robot with no problems. Last night (30/04/2026/-01/05/2026) I made my usual order. I suppose the courier delivered it near the parcel area instead of directly to the receptionist. I got the notification that my delivery arrived, I was waiting over an hour for the robot to deliver my food. Finally, I call reception with the hotel phone from my room, and this man with an attitude answers the phone telling me I need to come downstairs AT 1AM in my pyjamas to come and find the food. What are you talking about?? What am I paying for as a customer? Who do you think you are to make such demands? So I come down in my pyjamas at 1am, and this incompetent male receptionist does not even offer an apology for inconveniencing me and instead tells me to just go outside. I said go outside to where?? He then leads me to EXACTLY where the takeaway bag is. So he did know where it was, he was just too lazy to resolve the problem. He should have asked me which shop I ordered my food from, and he would have seen there is only one bag from 窑鸡王. Then you get up from your seat and stop scrolling on 微信 all night, and put that bag into the robot. A very simple problem to resolve. Instead you inconvenience the guest with no remorse, and act as if you are simply being paid to stare into space. I am SO angry, I will NEVER come back here again. I would have stayed for a couple of weeks but this incompetent male receptionist ruined it. Terrible terrible staff."

"If the rating system allowed it, I would give this property twenty stars out of ten without hesitation. The community feel was warm and welcoming — it genuinely felt like coming home. The neighborhood itself is a beautiful blend of traditional Chinese and European-influenced architecture, with lakes, parks, and charming streets all within easy walking distance. The space comfortably accommodated our whole family, and our children absolutely did not want to leave — we extended our stay 3xs. Cleanliness, location, service, and amenities all earned a perfect score from us. We enjoyed every moment of this stay and will without a doubt be returning. If you are traveling with family and want an experience that feels authentic, beautiful, genuinely restful with such gracious staff — look no further than this gem in Shunde. Highly, highly recommended."
