"As a get away, we were told the Gunrunner was special and indeed it was! This was one of the most unique boutique hotels. We stayed in the Billy Reid suite and it was nicely decorated and had a comfy bed with nice linens It doesn't have an elevator and carrying luggage up the wide steps may be a challenge for some people. There is a good coffee shop on the first floor and it is walkable to the downtown. We hope to be back!"

"Stayed for two nights. It was cheaper than other local hotels, but I should have sprung for the extra and stayed somewhere else. Bathtub faucet leaked and dripped nonstop. TV took fifteen minutes to “load” before the channels became available, bathroom floor tiles in the corners had thick layer of built up dirt, dirty Kleenex on the floor of the closet cut out, bathroom faucet looked like it had white toothpaste encrusted on the base but turns out it was just scratches and corrosion in the metal, walls were gross. Shower had good pressure. Basically needs a deep clean. It may just be time for a remodel, I understand that, but you can clean a dated building. Ya get what ya pay for. Lesson learned. (But it was still almost $300) Glad to be home!"

"Generally speaking, it's OK. It's very close to the university. The waiter kindly provided an inflatable bed. The bath water is large. The room size is also OK. It's relatively quiet. There is a western restaurant downstairs."
