"First of all , I am not the type of person who spend time to write a bad review , but I will make an exception for this place . I had booked as a present to my family the Danai room. They suggest me to book it via their page and not from booking . I used my card for the payment. When my family arrived , they told them that the room was unpaid and that they have to make the payment. In this point I would like to tell you that the payment was completed. They had my card number more than one month . When I call the agency to explain the situation, I told them that they should had call me about the payment , and not to interrupt the guests . When I first mention the issue, a woman told me that she will investigate it and she will call me back . She never did. I called again, I spoke with a man , he introduced himself as Michalis . He refused to give me his last name . He replied to me that he doesn’t care and I am free to complain everywhere . He hung up the phone ."

"Hotel is positioned on a beautiful part of the island. The grounds are lush and pool is great. We loved everything here as far as the environment, views, amenities and our room, but the service was quite poor specially with the front desk. Our room was directly by the pool, and two nights in a row live music was playing at the pool restaurant until 11pm, which is great if you are there enjoying it, but not when you have a small child and trying to put them to bed. The next day when I told the front desk member that the music was very loud in our room and we were unable to sleep he just said yes we can play music until 11. When I pushed further and asked if we could be moved the answer was no. And that was that. I was stunned at this terrible customer service. I appreciate the hotel was fully booked but a simple gesture, an apology or sympathy would have gone a long way."

"We had 3 days at Agnantia 26th to 29th September 2025. We were so happy to see that our apartment was private and spacious and charming, and well equipped and clean and the views seemed unreal in their beautiful perfection. What a bonus to have the balcony. The bed was very comfortable with delicious silky but cotton sheets of the highest quality. The pillows were just right too and comfortable. We had an abundance of towels and loo paper! All was perfect. The breakfast was absolutely out of this world! Fresh lovely and deliciously Greek. Mary and the Chef were so pleasant and helpful and generous. When the big storm was coming, i phoned Myra in a worried state, about getting our flight down in Argostoli the next day. She gave excellent and sensible advice that calmed me. And she was absolutely right as the conditions did turn out ok and we had a good and safe journey to Argostoli. I locked myself out of the apartment by mistake just as the storm was imminent and had no phones or car keys. Having knocked on a neighbours door to ask for help to phone Myra...she had Cheffie bring the spare keys within 5 minutes! Thank goodness! Myra was always instantly available. We had an enjoyable time and felt safe and cared for. Its a delightful place and we are honestly longing to plan our next trip. Thank you Myra and Mary and delightful clever chef love Barbara and Rick"
Balhambra Suites - Adults Only
"My wife and I had an absolutely amazing stay at Balhambra Suites in Fiscardo in June 2024. We were only able to stay for 3 nights and wish we could have stayed much longer. We had a fabulously spacious suite overlooking the courtyard and therefore our sun terrace complete with rattan sun-loungers and chairs basked in sunshine for most of the day. The bed was really comfortable and the suite was beautifully furnished with a huge en-suite bathroom and superb shower. We loved it so much, we are already seriously considering booking the same suite for next year. The apartments are centrally located and have a feeling of exclusivity with the private courtyard and apartments separated from the quayside restaurants and bars with closed gates. The owner Angelo was extremely helpful offering tips on beaches to visit as well as lending us beach parasols, beach towels etc. We had a thoroughly wonderful stay."

"Quiet apartments with fabulous views across the bay, the staff were so helpful and friendly and Fiscardo is just beautiful. We loved that out is an adults only establishment. We can’t wait to go back and we’re sorry to leave. "

"This place is wonderful. We had apartment 8 which is huge and beautifully furnished. The terrace over looking the sea is enormous and has sunloungers, dining table and chairs and sofa and comfy chairs. The views over the sea and mountains are amazing. There is also another large terrace facing inland. The kitchen is well equipped and the apartment is cleaned every day. The pool area has sunloungers and towels provided and is very quiet. We only ever once weren’t the only people there and it has a lovely view of the sea. The family running the hotel are very friendly and helpful. They arranged taxis to and from the airport for us. It is a couple of minutes walk to a small beach and less than five minutes to the harbour. You can also walk to Foki beach in about 15 minutes. There are lots of cats at the hotel, and lots more in Fiskardo. We would definitely stay here again and wholeheartedly recommend it for a relaxing holiday. Only issue might be the steps in the hotel and town for those not so fit or with mobility issues."

"Have stayed here twice now and will return asap! Very good position with amazing views and excellent accommodation with everything well thought out. Very Close to the main area but quieter than other places. Top management too from Nikos who helped with queries pre-visit very swiftly. The office for the suites is just below should you need help during your stay."
