"The hotel is a typical Moroccan traditional courtyard-style hotel, Riad/Ryad. We took a taxi from the train station, and the driver dropped us off at the "Blue Gate" of the old city. Google Maps was a bit unreliable, so we relied on locals for directions. The staff were very helpful, showing us around the gardens and rooftop. The rooms were clean and spacious, and we stayed for two nights. The breakfast tableware was beautiful and very Moroccan. My companion, Dongdong, asked if they had omelets, which were supposed to be served the next morning, but the staff immediately made them for us from the kitchen. For dinner, we tried authentic Moroccan couscous at the hotel, but it wasn't quite to our taste. What was particularly heartwarming was that during those days of heavy rain, the train tracks were damaged, and Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform) reported that trains were suspended. The staff called the train station several times to confirm if trains were running, and we finally left on time. Although it was the off-season and there were few guests, the staff and manager were exceptionally warm and attentive! I wrote about my experience on Xiaohongshu (Rednote, China's famous social media platform), and I'm sharing screenshots here."

"Our stay at Riad Maison Bleue was a highlight of our time in Morocco. The public courtyard was gorgeous, and our suite was comfortable, spacious and beautifully decorated. (Our room opened directly onto the public courtyard with pool, which, thankfully, was quiet during winter.) We enjoyed the restaurant and breakfast so much that we signed up for the Moroccan cooking class. Cooking and laughing side-by-side with friendly, experienced chefs was fantastic. All the staff were helpful and attentive, which made for a truly memorable experience."

"The rooms are large and modern. The bathroom is huge and, depending on your configuration may have a separate room for the toilet or may have a bidet. There is a refrigerator in the room. Ours was stocked with free snacks. The beds are firm in a good way and the air conditioning is cool. As for the hotel, there is a spa and a pool on the roof. The pool is more of a soaking pool than a swimming pool, but it was great in June to fight the heat. The spa is lovely. Highly recommend the hammam and the massage as I tried both and they were incredible. There is a great restaurant with a Moroccan and International menu. Breakfast is included and was great too! The staff are amazingly friendly. I would stay here again if I could!"

"Had a fantastic stay at this hotel! Friendly reception. We initially had a room on floor 5, but almost immediately after we arrived in our room they called to say that there was some work going on. We did not find this a problem, but soon someone at the counter was there to guide us to a better room on the sixth floor, for which NO surcharge was charged. The hotel and rooms are immaculately maintained. Everything is there. Highly recommended!!"

"We arrived on a Tuesday and left on a Friday. Do you know what room service is? Ok, well it doesn't exist there. They never made the room or changed towels in the entire week we were there. The room was very humble, almost third world. The photos They speak for themselves. The TV never worked, the bed was very hard, the pillows were destroyed, the shower came out with water everywhere, the bed as soon as we arrived we found hair and the sheets were extremely used and of a size that did not correspond to the mattress (very small ), some broken and loose floor tiles, etc. We had a problem (cut on the foot) with the screw that protruded from the floor, making it a stop for the screen. We asked several times for clean towels but they never arrived. The breakfast is good, but you should know that it is all to be shared between the different guests... each one there with their education and hygiene (I recommend going down at 9 o'clock sharp to be one of the first in sitting, even though the hostess is not excessively "punctual".. In short, bad experience, unhygienic, not very comfortable and little desire to improve. The only good thing is the location."

Poolen var lille, men fryse, bare den måde, jeg kan lide det og personalet var også dejlige – på trods af at jeg måtte gå ned og bede dem om at slukke musikken i hamman ved 11.30pm, som var lige under mit værelse, da det blev rørt gennem luftventilerne ved Vi havde drikke på taget om natten, og manageren var smuk. Morgenmaden var ikke så stor – kun kontinental, som blev lagt op på forhånd – som grøntsager, jeg bad om en separat plade af ost – og værten lige løftede kødet ud af pladen og satte frisk ost, da kødet havde lamineret. Ikke stor, og vi havde kun brød på første morgen med sødt græskar på anden."

The place is splendid and exudes a soul where the past and the present combine with precision. The patina of time since the restoration of the building gives it incredible charm. Each space on the ground floor, where the spa is located, is a jump into a timeless capsule. When you enter the elevator that goes to the third floor on the terrace which has a superb view of the medina, you are in Jules Verne's Captain Nemo's ship! Don't go there with the services of a large hotel because you will be disappointed and you will have missed the purpose of this place which is made to experience an emotion (and moreover this hotel has the faults of all the other Moroccan luxury hotels …). The magic in this place only happens if you are receptive to its soul."

"Am writing the review for the restaurant, not the hotel. This is located within the Medina in Fez. We were a large group and had opted for dinner on the verandah. It was a bit cramped. Lovely views of the city from the restaurant. The food was good - typical Moroccan. However, the service could have been far better. Some of the waiters wouldn't even respond properly. We were served some wine/beer/juice before dinner."
